Love doesn’t stay alive by accident. It grows because two people keep choosing each other — in the small moments, the quiet moments, and even the frustrating ones.

Marriage flourishes when we are intentional: a gentle tone, a simple “thank you,” an apology that bridges distance, a prayer whispered for your partner, or a moment of listening with a soft heart.

It’s the daily choices that build unity, not the grand gestures.
As Colossians 3:14 reminds us, “Put on love”… — wear it, practice it, give it.

Today, choose your partner again. One act of kindness can shift the entire atmosphere of your home.

Love is a decision — every day.

Inside each of us lives a child who once longed to be seen, heard, and loved. When that child’s needs were unmet, wounds formed — showing up later as fear, perfectionism, or people-pleasing.

Healing begins when we gently turn inward and invite God into those broken spaces. It’s not about blame; it’s about understanding and allowing His love to restore what was lost.

> “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
— Psalm 147:3 (NIV)

Take a deep breath, pause, and listen to your inner child. Offer grace, forgiveness, and compassion. You are not your pain — you are who God says you are: loved, chosen, and whole. 💛

🌿 It’s Okay to Feel 🌿
By Doreen – Nothan Counselling Consultancy

We often say “I’m fine” even when we’re not — but true healing starts when we allow ourselves to feel. 💭

It’s okay to say, “I’m tired,” “I’m sad,” or “I’m struggling.” Expressing emotions isn’t weakness — it’s strength. When we open up, we release the pressure inside and create room for peace. 🕊️

The Bible reminds us in Psalm 62:8:

> “Pour out your hearts before Him, for God is our refuge.”

God invites honesty, not perfection. Let’s normalize being real — not just saying we’re fine. ❤️

At Nothan Counselling Consultancy, we offer physical and virtual therapy sessions — safe spaces to talk, heal, and grow.

🧠 Understanding Schizophrenia — Seeing Beyond the Illusion

Schizophrenia is often misunderstood, yet behind every diagnosis is a real person trying to make sense of their world.

Those living with it may experience hallucinations or delusions, but with love, therapy, and community support, recovery is possible. Let’s replace fear with understanding and stigma with compassion.

The Bible reminds us:

> “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2

Let’s be the safe space where healing begins. 💙

💚 September is National Su***de Prevention Month 💜

Every September, the world pauses to remember the lives lost to su***de, stand with the families left behind, and most importantly—extend hope to those silently struggling.

Su***de does not discriminate. It affects young and old, men and women, families and communities. But there is hope. Healing is possible. Conversations save lives. Reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

At Nothan Counselling Consultancy, we walk with you in the journey of healing, hope, and restoration. You don’t have to carry the weight alone—safe spaces exist for you.
