Journey Through Perthes Legg Calve Perthes Disease that affects children between ages of 5 to 8 years old.

This is a story about our experience with Perthes, a rare condition that affects children. Aptly titled "Journey Through Perthes" it is simply a personal view of our discovery, the signs, treatment options available and a step by step account of how our lives changed when confronted with something we never expected as parents. Our main objectives are:
1.)To create awareness about Perthes for regular people to understand and learn how to seek early diagnosis as soon as they see the signs
2.)Create a community where people can share experiences
3.) Through the community offer a base for the medical fraternity to consolidate resources and further their research and apply modern methods for early detection and management of the condition.
