*How I started a side hustle of hawking a toothache remedy herb!*
My name is Enoch Moseti, a Leadership and team-building coach with LECBC Team Building (check us on Facebook), I am also a minister of the word with Pentecostal Mission Church Nairobi. I have introduced myself so that you don't mistake me for that ordinary herbalist after hearing the story I am about to narrate.
How it all started!
Sometime back I developed a very serious toothache and I couldn't eat or sleep well for several days, even after trying almost all over-the-counter medicines that are out there that handle the same. After consulting widely on the best solution for my predicament, I was faced with the "easy and permanent" option of uprooting the problem (teeth). Unfortunately, this option also leaves you with a permanent gap hidden in your mouth.
It was at this point I reached out to my SDA Uncle serving in an NGO in the areas of North Eastern Kenya for advice. To my surprise, he narrated to me how he had survived terrible toothaches and decay that was worse to the point of having some "Maiiraa (pus)". He couldn't eat for several days until he met a local samburu mzee who gave him a bark of a certain tree to chew and gurgle the sap in the mouth for 10-15 mins. He did this at around 3pm and by 7pm he was eating, something he couldn't do for several days. He narrated to me how the herb worked wonders and saved his teeth and those of others he gave the herb to use. He passionately urged me to try the herb before considering the permanent solution of uprooting the tooth.
I received the herb the following day and I used it as prescribed. To my surprise, after a few minutes of using it, I was relieved of the pain and after using it for two days, I had been delivered from toothache and sensitivity. I decided not to keep this to myself. I shared the herb to literally everyone I could find who had issues with toothache, bleeding of gums, sensitivity and bleeding after chewing some hard stuff like sugarcane. To my surprise they all came back thanking me.

After sometime, those that were helped by the herb came with their friends with dental issues looking for the dental herb. Unfortunately, I told them I had shared all that I had and I didn't have any to give them. Opportunity presented by Covid19 pandemic disruption!
This side hustle picked well during the covid19 pandemic due to the fact that:
1. Most dental clinics closed shop as way of stopping spread of the virus.
2. Most people with dental issues and other sicknesses were fearing to visit hospitals for fears of contracting the virus because hospitals were considered as battle war fronts for the virus.
3. Most people couldn't and even now can't afford specialized dental remedies from high end dental clinics due to high costs involved.
