For far too long, access to affordable healthcare has been a major problem in Africa. We are committed to changing that, and today we are proud to say that we have taken a huge step forward in making healthcare more accessible for all Africans starting with Kenya 😀😀

As the Co-founder & CEO of Lyfiti, I can attest to the dire need for accessible healthcare in Africa. In early 2022, I was involved in an accident that required extensive surgery. This experience opened my eyes to the plight of many Africans seeking healthcare. The high cost, lack of options and inefficiency of the system motivated me to start this company (Lyfiti).

Our MVP, for now, focuses on recommended and personalized health insurance based on a customer's details and affordability, but our ultimate vision is to have a digital healthcare marketplace with all healthcare services from doctors, pharmacies, hospitals, labs, gyms, healthy living and more.

Our journey has been filled with challenges and triumphs. From sitting in an executive corner office in one of Africa's leading financial services companies and back to building & grinding in another tech startup working from our homes, shared offices, cafes, cars etc. It's been a tough (T for tough 😂😂) journey. But we couldn’t have done it without the support of our families, spouses/partners, friends, amazing team, Antler, our early adopters, partners, and my former employer (Old Mutual Group) who have helped us test and improve our platform.

As we move forward, we are excited to continue working with tech and healthcare stakeholders to improve our platform and make it the best it can be.
