• Your thoughts can feel real—even when they’re not true.

• Anxiety and low mood often come with distorted thinking patterns. But when you pause and question your thoughts, you create room for truth and healing. 🌿

• You are allowed to rewrite your inner narrative.
Start with: “Is there another way to look at this?”

• Your mind is your home—but some habits slowly damage the foundation.

• We rarely notice the effects until we feel burned out, anxious, or disconnected from ourselves.

💡 The good news is? You can always choose differently.
• Start small. Be kind to yourself. Your mental wellness matters.

Which habit are you currently working on? Let’s talk 👇🏽

• Sometimes your mind needs a place to land.
• Journaling helps you slow down, unpack your thoughts, and process emotions that may be too overwhelming to say out loud.

It’s not about being a writer.
It’s about being honest—with yourself.

Start with a simple prompt today:
“Right now, I feel…”

📓 Do you journal? What has it taught you about yourself?

• Mental health isn’t one-size-fits-all. What works for your friend might not work for you—and that’s perfectly okay.

💚 Usijilinganishe. Jipe nafasi ya kujijua na kupona kwa njia yako.
(Don't compare yourself. Give yourself space to know and heal in your own way.)

🌿 Some heal through therapy.
🎨 Others through creativity.
👣 Some need movement.
📖 Others need stillness.
💬 Some talk it out.
📝 Others write it out.
😌 Some need solitude.
❤️ Others need connection.

• Your healing doesn't need to look like anyone else's.

🌸 3 Ways to Support a New Mother’s Mental Health

1. Listen Without Judging
Sometimes all she needs is someone to hear her out — not fix her, not advise her — just listen with compassion.

2. Offer Help, Not Pressure
Instead of saying “Let me know if you need anything,” offer something specific:
➤ “Can I cook you a meal?”
➤ “Want me to hold the baby while you nap?”

3. Check In Often — Even Briefly
A simple “How are you holding up?” can remind her that she’s not alone.

• Motherhood can be beautiful — and also deeply overwhelming.
• So many new mums silently battle stress, loneliness, and even postpartum depression.

You don’t need grand gestures to support her.
You just need to be present, kind, and consistent.

🤍 Tuko pamoja. Let’s care for our mamas.

• You’re not broken for having these thoughts.
You’re human.

• Many people feel this way but never say it out loud.
So here’s your reminder:
You’re not alone.

• There’s no shame in struggling. There’s no weakness in feeling deeply. And there is absolutely no need to do it all alone.

🤝Tuko pamoja — we’re in this together.

• It’s more than just being tired.
Emotional exhaustion can sneak in quietly—until even the smallest things feel heavy.

• If you see yourself in any of these signs, you’re not alone. 💚
It might be your mind and body asking for rest, boundaries, or support.

• Give yourself permission to slow down.
Healing starts with noticing.
