Our hand therapy pegboard is used for finger dexterity exercises by inserting the wooden peg accurately in place, helps with recovery after hand, wrist, or forearm trauma by increasing strength, dexterity, and other rehabilitation.
The placement of pegs into the holes require grasping and placement skills as well as hand-eye coordination and cognitive recognition skills, so they can also be used to help improve fine motor coordination, enhance concentration and aid in increasing reactionary speed.
Designed for patients who have suffered a stroke, brain injury, Parkinson. The round pegs with 15mm diameter are easy to grasp and place for those with arthritis. The 20 holes on the wooden board are embedded with plastic hole caps to ensure the holes is flat and the size is consistent, so that the pegs will not be tilted and crooked.
