Victor’s Story

Victor Gotti Cherry was born and raised in the heart of Central Harlem, New York, where he witnessed violence in its many forms—domestic violence, physical assaults, gun violence, and drug-related crimes. As a young man, Victor struggled to distinguish between self-defense and self-hatred, becoming trapped in the destructive cycle that led to the incarceration or death of many of his friends.

Growing up, Victor viewed violence as a way to gain respect or strength—a misguided “rite of passage” that only brought more harm. He believes that violence is rooted in deeper societal issues, such as poverty, drug abuse, and systemic inequality, and that these issues must be addressed to break the cycle.

“I lost so many friends to situations that could have been resolved with communication, mediation, and counseling,” Victor reflects. “Without proper guidance and opportunity, no community can truly find unity.”

Victor’s personal journey—from troubled youth to transformative life coach, speaker, and advocate—shows the power of self-awareness and the strength that comes from community support. He now dedicates his life to helping others avoid the destructive path he once walked.

BREAKING: The New York Appellate Division has ruled in favor of Governor Kathy Hochul in a landmark case for government overreach.

Rule 2.13: “Isolation and Quarantine Procedures” will give the state of New York the ability to come in your home and take you away to quarantine without any notice and for any virus or infection they deem necessary.

You won’t have any option to fight it. No court date. Nothing. The rule has no age limit and they can keep you as long as they’d like. The rule also allows them to treat you as they see fit, including using methods that are still in testing.

For the month of January 2022, New York City saw a 38.5% increase in overall index crime compared with January 2021 (9,566 v. 6,905).

Every major index crime category saw an increase for the month of January 2022 with the exception of murder, which fell by 15.2% (28 v. 33). Robbery increased by 33.1% (1,251 v. 940), and grand larceny increased by 58.1% (4,047 v. 2,559). Citywide shooting incidents increased by 31.6% (100 v. 76) in January 2022 compared with the same period last year.

Our President Victor V. Cherry remains steadfast on his mission to reduce crime and fighting the toll of gun violence. Victor stands on that anyone can change, but it takes cohesiveness of reprogramming. Violence is a learned behavior, it’s mental health because of the normalization and normality of issues many people just ignore the warning signs.
