Organization Background
St. Joseph The Worker Health Centre is a faith based health facility of St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Parish and is situated in Kangemi, Nairobi. It was started in November 1987 by two Spaniard ladies namely Dr. Envy Pujades and Dr. Carma Pares. At the moment the dispensary is under the management of Dimesse Sisters which is a religious congregation, committed to serving those in great need. In the year 2000, the Dimesse Sisters came in to the management of St. Joseph The Worker Dispensary Kangemi, with the mission of providing quality and affordable healthcare to the community, in line with their charisma, and so as to continue Christ’s healing ministry.
