To keep , follow the core principles of Clean, Separate, Cook, and Chill: wash hands and surfaces often, keep raw foods away from cooked foods, cook to proper internal temperatures using a thermometer, and refrigerate perishables within two hours (or one hour if it's hot) to stop bacteria from growing in the danger zone (40°F–140°F). Always use safe water, store food in covered containers, and when in doubt, throw it out.

Today marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism. This period calls us to reflect, speak, and act with intention.

As we enter these , we must commit to breaking the patterns that allow violence to thrive. Let us support survivors, challenge harmful norms and hold institutions accountable for the protection they are mandated to give.

RUKA Network under ActionAid Kenya today joined the National Education Reforms Stakeholders Conference, convened by the Elimu Bora Working Group at Swiss Belinn Hotel.

As a committed partner in advancing the right to education, ActionAid Kenya engaged with key stakeholders to critically examine the systemic challenges hindering meaningful education reform in Kenya, including underfunding, inequality, weak coordination, and inadequate oversight.

These barriers must be urgently addressed to ensure every child in Kenya accesses inclusive, equitable, and quality education.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to education justice and call for collective action to build an education system that truly delivers for all learners.
