Haven Social Training endeavours to work with individuals that have intellectual disabilities, autism, ADHD, social challenges such as addictions, transition through various stages of life, among others. Haven Social Training also has a youth programme running called jichoche. Jichoche targets adolescents (pre-teens to young adults) from all walks of life with an aim to equip them with the necessary social skills for a better and brighter tomorrow. We tackle topics such as self-esteem and self-image, purpose, proper decision making skills, social relationships, conflict resolution skills, career paths, and so much more. We also have a session or two with parents under the same programme with an aim to bring to their attention a few valuable parenting skills. It is our deepest desire to see individuals and families made whole for a stronger and more resilient society and nation.
