A huge shout-out to Ursina. She has been working as a physiotherapist for the last 20 years. She has a background in working with different amputees, both in East Africa and Switzerland. Ursina works with us in our various trainings to support orthopaedic technicians. Ursina is a big advocate of an active lifestyle. She loves being on her bike, enjoys basketball and also walks and runs. She is a true holistic queen. We appreciate her enthusiasm and passion. 💛💛💛⁠

Salim, from Kwale, Kenya, tragically lost his leg in a road accident. After he received a prosthetic, he returned to his job: weaving beautiful coconut leaves. These leaves now provide exotic outdoor shades along the beach. We are deeply inspired by Salim's perseverance and the unwavering support of his family and community, which empowers him to continue moving forward and providing for his loved ones.
