Today, we celebrate a historic milestone in Kenya and East & Central Africa’s journey in reproductive medicine.
On 8th March 2006, 20 years ago today Hope became reality as the first IVF babies in the region were born.
Two Beautiful baby girls.
Two Courageous mothers.
One Visionary doctor, Dr. Noreh and The Nairobi IVF Centre
That moment was more than a medical achievement. It was the beginning of new possibilities for countless families who once believed parenthood was beyond reach.
It marked the dawn of Assisted Reproductive Technology in our region and opened doors to hope, healing and generations of miracles.
As we also celebrate Mother’s Day today, we honour every mother, Who held their babies after years of waiting, Who are still trusting the journey and the pioneers who made these dreams possible.
Twenty years later, the legacy lives on in every child born through IVF, every family created and every life touched by Fertility Care.
