Last week, our team had the privilege of attending a Neurosurgical camp at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu.

From long hours in theatre, focused and united in our scrubs, to quiet sunset moments by Lake Victoria, it was a week of service, skill, and shared purpose. 🌅🏥
We’re grateful for the lives touched, the teamwork strengthened, and the journey home — made even more beautiful by the scenic tea plantations along the way to Nairobi.

Today on World Stroke Day, BSR Hospital reminds you: every second counts when it comes to stroke. Know the Signs. BEFAST. Save a Life:
• B – Balance: Sudden loss of balance, dizziness, or trouble walking.
• E – Eyes: Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes.
• F – Face: Sudden drooping or numbness on one side of the face, like an uneven smile.
• A – Arms: Sudden weakness or numbness in one arm—or difficulty lifting both arms.
• S – Speech: Sudden slurred speech or difficulty speaking or understanding others.
• T – Time: Time to call emergency services immediately. Don’t ignore the warning signs.
