Your bile ducts play a crucial role in digestion, but when something goes wrong, the signs can be easy to miss.

Persistent abdominal discomfort, yellowing of the eyes or skin, or ongoing digestive issues may point to a biliary condition that needs medical attention.

In this video, Samuel Kihara, Senior Nurse, walks you through how modern biliary procedures help doctors accurately diagnose and manage these conditions using minimally invasive techniques.

Early diagnosis can make all the difference.

This Easter, The Nairobi Hospital came together to celebrate hope, renewal, and the power of human connection. Our Customer Experience team joined in the festivities, sharing thoughtful gifts with our inpatients and outpatients to bring smiles to their healing journey. A special highlight was the cake-cutting at St. Mary’s Ward, where kids, parents, and staff gathered to celebrate the bond of care that defines our community. We believe that compassion is just as vital as medicine.

On World Autism Awareness Day, we recognise and celebrate the uniqueness of every individual on the autism spectrum.

It’s a spectrum of strengths, challenges and perspectives. Greater awareness leads to understanding, and understanding creates more inclusive communities.

Let’s move beyond awareness to acceptance, support, and meaningful inclusion in our homes, schools, workplaces, and society.

Let’s talk about autism in children.

Getting a diagnosis for your child can bring up a lot of feelings all at once. Relief sometimes, confusion, worry, all of that is completely normal and valid.
But as a parent or caregiver, understand that the diagnosis doesn't change who the child is. The diagnosis is just a tool that helps us understand how they experience the world, so we can support them better. It doesn't define their potential or their future. We’ll look at what they need, whether it is therapy or adjustments at school, but we'll take it one step at a time together.

If you are worried that your child is showing signs, book an appointment with us or call us to check the next available paediatric clinic at a branch near you. Chifor Terry

We are proud to support this initiative that prioritizes the health and wellbeing of those who protect our nation.
