At Daily Life Navigators, we help you navigate LIFE. Daily Life Navigators is an initiative that is open to work with individuals and groups of all age groups and life stages too. Our organization is seeking to address daily, developmental and chronic challenges hindering holistic development and existence of children, adolescents, young adults, middle aged adults, career women and men, leaders in various capacities, those retiring from different careers, and those struggling with aging. We are passionate about helping people heal, grow and realize their full potential. We strive to achieve this by creating a safe, supportive and healing environment that empowers individuals to thrive. We seek to expand their knowledge and coping skills in areas such as adolescent sexual and reproductive health, life skills, peer pressure, stress and anger management, anxiety, attitude and behaviour change, addictions, pregnancy, careers, traumas, PTSD, depression, grief and loss, retirement, old age challenges, and chronic stressors among many other life challenges. To work with communities, groups and individuals to holistically empower the members through sensitization, training, counseling and information on life skill and coping mechanisms aimed at ensuring people enjoy everyday life. Our objectives
All our work is aimed at the following:
• Facilitating individuals to identify and understand the obstacles they face, recognize and utilize their strengths, and work towards enhancing a sense of well being and personal satisfaction in life
• Spread awareness and motivate children, youth and adults to acquire and equip themselves with life skills and knowledge on their development and emotional health
• To facilitate and influence attitude and behaviour change in favour of children, youth and adults through counseling services.
• Ensure children, youth and adults especially in excluded areas or circumstances secure their rights and equal opportunities for development, growth and emotional well being. Our core values
• Reverence to God in every activity we carry out without compelling resolve to proselytize our project beneficiaries.
• Recognition of value in diversity and upholding dignity and worth of all people.
• Upholding integrity by honesty, transparency and accountability as well as being open in our communication and engagement with others.

Today 10th October, we observe World Mental Health Day, within Mental Health Awareness Month.

This year’s theme — “Access to Services: Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies” — reminds us that everyone deserves support when life breaks down.

But before access to care can happen, there must be .

If I cannot name my distress, how will I know what help to seek?

If I cannot recognize that I’m breaking, how will I begin to heal?

is the first act of access — the inner doorway to every form of mental health care.

When catastrophes strike — whether external like war, loss, or disaster;

Or the rather silent, invisible and sometimes visible internal ones such as burnout, illness, loss, conflict, relationship failure, emotional abuse, or any form of despair;
gives us the courage to pause and say:
“I am not okay. I need help. I matter.”

Without that moment of recognition, or , the chain of breaks.

We live in a world where crises — personal and collective — have become almost constant.

In such times, to mental health care is as essential as to food, water, and shelter.

But before we reach for therapy, medication, or counseling, we must first reach within.

Because without we cannot name our pain, seek help, or receive support.

That is why I believe:
is a human right to mental health.

As we commemorate this day, remember:
is a universal human right — but that right begins within.

Before we therapy, community, or medication, we must ourselves.
