🚨 BEWARE THESE HIDDEN HABITS THAT SILENTLY STRESS YOUR BODY 🚨

Not all stress comes from problems or emotions.
Some stress builds quietly from everyday habits that feel normal.

_Here are a few that often go unnoticed_

❌ Skipping meals and calling it β€œbusy”
❌ Drinking too much caffeine and too little water
❌ Sitting for long hours without movement
❌ Sleeping late, even when tired
❌ Constant phone use with no real breaks

These habits keep your body in a low, constant stress mode β€” affecting digestion, hormones, energy, and sleep over time.

_Be careful, do everything for enjoyment and for your health this festive season. Remember, your body is the only place you live in!_

_Margarine and Frosting: Keep Trans-fats Away This Festive Season!_

These foods, along with many packaged snack foods, are high in trans fats. You may know that trans fats aren’t good for your heart and blood vessels. Research has found that they may also wreak havoc on brain function. A study from the journal Neurology found that older adults who had the highest levels of elaidic acid (a common type of trans fat) in their blood were the most more likely to develop dementia.

Healthy alternatives; nut butters such almond butter and peanut butter, gives a healing tone as you refresh.

When the holiday stress hits, try 4-7-8 breathing. Breathing is an essential act that requires no thought. But thinking about it can alter your physical and mental health. It can relieve stress and anxiety or help you wind down and fall asleep.

*Enemy Within; Ultra-Processed Foods!*

Scientists have classified foods into four groups (known as the NOVA Classification) based on how processed the foods are and they use this classification system in scientific research.

Researchers have found that a higher intake of ultra-processed foods (UPF) increases the risk of developing many types of cancer, including colorectal, breast and pancreatic cancers.

AICR’s Cancer Prevention Recommendations advise choosing more vegetables, fruit, legumes and whole grains, and fewer fast foods and ultra-processed foods loaded with sugar.
