Hello wellness warriors,

From atomic habits, one of the best way to start a new habit is to use implementation intentions:
“I will [DO HABIT] at [TIME] in [PLACE].” Using exercise as our habit example, the implementation intention could be:

“I will do 10 minutes of yoga at 7 AM in my living room.”

Here are some implementation intention examples for building a consistent exercise routine:

1. “I will go for a 20-minute run at 6:30 AM in my neighborhood.”
2. “I will do strength training for 30 minutes at 5 PM in my home gym.”
3. “I will follow a 15-minute dance workout at 7 PM in my living room.”
4. “I will take a brisk 10-minute walk after lunch at 1 PM around my office building.”
5. “I will stretch for 5 minutes right after waking up at 6 AM in my bedroom.”
6. “I will do a 20-minute cycling session at 6:15 AM at the gym.”
7. “I will practice Pilates at 8 AM every Saturday in my backyard.”
8. “I will take the stairs instead of the elevator every time I reach my office.”
9. “I will swim for 30 minutes at 6 PM in the community pool on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.”
10. “I will do bodyweight exercises (push-ups, squats, planks) for 15 minutes at 7 AM in my bedroom.”

A Gentle Nudge Toward Wellness 💕

As I take a moment to reflect on why I started this group, one thing stands out—most of us don’t struggle with wellness because we don’t understand the importance of exercise. We struggle because staying consistent is hard. Life gets busy, motivation fades, and before we know it, our good intentions take a backseat.

I don’t have it all figured out either, and I won’t pretend to. Like many of you, I’m still on this journey—sometimes moving slowly, but still moving forward. And that’s what matters. 💪✨

So, we are taking our commitment a notch higher!

In Atomic Habits, the 1st Law of Behavior Change is making your habit obvious—meaning your environment should support your goals. For exercise, this could be as simple as keeping your workout clothes, yoga mat, or sneakers where you can see them—next to your bed, by your desk, or near the door. This small step makes a big difference!

🌸 Our challenge today and tomorrow is to find one way to make exercise visible in our daily space. Then, check in and share how it’s helping you stay committed!

Here’s to a new month of small, consistent steps toward feeling healthier, stronger, more energized, and well.

This month, we commit to showing up, building consistency, and making exercise a sustainable daily habit—one small step at a time.

Using lessons from the book “Atomic Habits”, we will focus on tiny, achievable changes that stack up to big results. No pressure, no guilt—just progress. Let’s do this together, lift each other up, and make movement a non-negotiable part of our daily lives.
We are stronger than our excuses and situations.
