Everyone prepares you for what the baby needs…
Diapers. Milk. Warmth. Sleep. Love.
But no one really prepares you for what you will need, mama.
You need rest that actually restores you.
You need someone to ask how you are and wait for the real answer.
You need support, not just with the baby, but with your emotions.
You need space to feel everything without guilt.
You need to be seen beyond being “just a mom.”
Because the truth is
A baby doesn’t just need a “strong mom.”
They need a supported one.
You are allowed to need help.
You are allowed to feel overwhelmed.
You are allowed to still be finding yourself in this new version of you.
Taking care of your mental health is not selfish…
It’s part of taking care of your baby too.
