This week, Diaspora Affairs PS Roseline Kathure Njogu ,welcomed Mr. Georg Willeit, CEO of Lebenshilfe Tirol—an Austria-based non-governmental organization.

The meeting focused on identifying potential areas of collaboration between the State Department for Diaspora Affairs and Lebenshilfe Tirol.

This engagement builds on earlier discussions that took place in Vienna, Austria, in January 2025 between the SDDA and various Austrian agencies.

The (Catholic University of East Africa) has officially signed a partnership with Austria’s Lebenshilfe Tirol, marking a major step in expanding international healthcare opportunities for their students.

This collaboration will empower CUEA nursing and healthcare students to access career opportunities in Austria, supported by structured German language training, cultural integration modules, and alignment with Austrian healthcare standards.

More than just job placements, this partnership paves the way for joint research, faculty exchange, and rich cross-cultural learning experiences.
