Having finalized the virtually learning aspects yesterday, the final part of the second semester of the seminary is expected to start this coming Monday. We wish all our lecturers and students a wonderful time. All of these was possible only through the guidance and blessings our father and Archbishop Professor Makarios Tillyrides.

It is with much pain and disbelief that we announce the passing on of our beloved Professor of Philosophy and African Church History, Mwalimu Zachaeus Njunge who passed on last night while undergoing treatment at Nairobi West Hospital.

All condolences can be passed on through the seminary registrar’s office. We request that we all pray for his soul and his family at this very difficult time. May his memory be eternal!

With the blessings of H.E. Yieronda Makarios Tillyrides Kenyas we today hosted theologians from different countries and continents at Makarios Seminary who were sent as one of the different teams sent out in the field from the ongoing “Use Your Talent” conference held in Limuru Kenya as of yesterday. Our beloved seminarians showed their various talents on farming, business, and services rendered for remuneration.

This year’s public lecture of our seminary under the Department of Theological Advancemnet and Ecumenical Relations, was led by the Very Rev Archimandrite Fr Cyril Hovorun, the acting Director of the Huffington Ecumenical Institute and Profesora of Theology in Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles USA. We thank God also for their books donation to our library
