*Organs directly affected by Fibroids*

_Uterus_ : The most common location, as fibroids are muscular tumors that grow in or on the uterine wall, lining, or cervix.
_Bladder_ : Large fibroids can press on the bladder, leading to a frequent or urgent need to urinate.
_Bowel/Rectum_ : Pressure on the bowels can cause constipation, painful bowel movements, or bloating.
_Kidneys_ : In some cases, fibroids can put pressure on the ureters (tubes that connect the kidneys to the bladder), which can lead to kidney damage if not addressed.

*Other affected areas*
_Abdomen_ : Large fibroids can cause a feeling of fullness or bloating by pressing on the stomach or other abdominal organs.

_Back_ : Pressure on the lower back can cause pain.

Many women live with fibroids for years without knowing. Some discover it only when symptoms begin to affect their daily life, relationships, or fertility.

Common symptoms include:

Heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding

Severe cramps or pelvic pain

Swollen abdomen or bloating

Frequent urination

Back pain

Pain during intimacy

Difficulty getting pregnant

If left untreated, fibroids can grow bigger, cause anemia (due to blood loss), fertility problems, or even the need for surgery.

The truth:
Fibroids are more common than most women realize, especially between ages 25–45.
The good news? Fibroids can shrink naturally and be managed effectively with the right care and lifestyle changes.

🚨 Are You Ignoring the Signs of Fibroids?

Many women experience heavy periods, bloating, pelvic pain, or hormonal imbalances—but few realize these could be signs of uterine fibroids. These non-cancerous growths in the uterus affect millions of women, often going undetected until symptoms become severe.

Having a fibroid that appears to push the placenta "upwards" may indicate that the fibroid is distorting the shape of the uterine cavity. This mechanical pressure or distortion can potentially interfere with the placenta's position and increase the risk of certain pregnancy complications. The specific risks depend on the fibroid's size and exact location relative to the placenta.

*How fibroids can affect placental position*
_Interference with implantation_ :
A submucosal fibroid (located in the inner uterine cavity) can disrupt the fertilized egg's ability to implant properly. If implantation is distorted, the placenta may form in an abnormal position.

_Physical obstruction and distortion_ : As both the uterus and fibroid grow during pregnancy, a large fibroid can take up space within the uterine cavity. This can distort the uterus's shape, which may prevent the placenta from moving into its normal, upper position.

_Placenta previa_ : The presence of fibroids, particularly large ones, is associated with a two-to-three-fold increased risk of placenta previa. In this condition, the placenta covers part or all of the cervix, blocking the baby's exit route. The diagnosis requires careful monitoring, as the placenta may still move upward as the uterus grows.

*Intramural* : The most common type, these grow within the muscular wall of the uterus.
*Subserosal* : These grow on the outer surface of the uterus and can expand into the pelvis.
*Submucosal* : These develop under the inner lining of the uterus and grow into the uterine cavity, often causing heavy or abnormal bleeding.

ONE OF THE SYMPTOMS OF FIBROID THAT MANY WOMEN IGNORE

🫧Lower Back or Leg Pain

Large f!broids, especially those growing on the back side of the uterus, can press on the nerves of the lower back or even the sciatic nerve, causing radiating pain in the back, hips, or legs.

🔺When It’s a Red Flag:

If you’re dealing with chronic back or leg pain not explained by injury or activity, fibroids might be to blame, particularly if the pain happens with other fibroids symptoms.

Fibroids are small lumps or growths in a woman’s uterus. They are not cancer, but they can sometimes cause problems. Many women have them and don’t even know it.
The exact cause is not fully known, but some things can make fibroids more likely:
1️⃣ Hormones: Estrogen and progesterone can make them grow.
2️⃣ Family history: If her mother or sisters had fibroids, she may get them too.
3️⃣ Age: Women in their 30s and 40s are more likely to have fibroids.
4️⃣ Other factors: Being overweight, unhealthy diet, or lack of exercise may increase risk.

Some women have fibroids and feel fine. But sometimes fibroids can cause:

Heavy or long periods 🩸

Pain in the belly or lower back 😣

Frequent urination or pressure on the bladder

Trouble getting pregnant in some cases 🤰

Understanding Ovulation and Fertility in Women

What is Ovulation?

Ovulation is the process where a mature egg is released from one of your ovaries. This egg travels down the fallopian tube, waiting to be fertilized by s***m.

Ovulation usually happens once every menstrual cycle, about 12 to 16 days before your next period.
The egg can survive for about *12 to 24* hours after being released.
If s***m is *present during this time,* fertilization can occur.
If not, the egg dissolves, and your period starts.
Why it matters:
*Ovulation is the only time in your cycle when you can get pregnant.* Understanding it helps with both pregnancy planning and natural birth control.

Signs You Are Ovulating

Your body gives clues when ovulation is near or happening. Here are the most common signs:

1. Change in Cervical Mucus
Around ovulation, discharge becomes clear, slippery, and stretchy—like raw egg white.
This type of mucus helps s***m swim easily to the egg.

2. Slight Rise in Body Temperature
Your basal body temperature (BBT) rises slightly (0.5–1°F) after ovulation.
Tracking this daily can help pinpoint when ovulation occurs.

3. Mild Pelvic or Lower Abdominal Pain
Some women feel a dull ache or sharp pain on one side of the lower belly (called Mittelschmerz) during ovulation.

4. Increased Libido
You may notice a boost in sexual desire around ovulation. This is nature’s way of increasing your chances of conception.

5. Breast Tenderness
Hormonal changes during ovulation can make breasts feel sore or swollen.

6. Heightened Sense of Smell or Taste
Many women report increased sensitivity to smells or tastes during this fertile window.

Many women get worried when they notice a painful lump or swelling in their private area.

Boils in the ge***al area are actually quite common.

But what really causes them?

Let's break them down 👇
1. Bacterial infection (Staphylococcus aureus): This is the most common cause and this bacteria enters through tiny cuts, shaving wounds, or skin irritation.

2. Ingrown hairs: Shaving or waxing the p***c area can cause hair to grow back into the skin, leading to inflammation and boil formation.

3. Poor hygiene or excessive sweating: Moisture and heat in the ge***al region create the perfect environment for bacteria.

4. Blocked sweat or oil glands: When sweat glands are clogged, infection can set in.

5. Weak immune system or underlying illness (like diabetes): This makes it easier for infections to develop.

6. Tight clothing: Friction and irritation from very tight underwear or trousers can trigger boils.

Block tubes are often caused by scar tissue or pelvic adhesion. Block tubes can also be caused by many factors including they following 👇👇

✅ P€LVIC INFL@MMATORY DISEASE (PID):This can cause sc@rring or hydros@lpinx.

✅ ENDOMETRI0SIS: End0metrial tissue can build up in the fallopian tube and cause blockage .

✅CERTAIN S€XUALLY TRANSMITTED INF€CTIONS (STIs) such as GON∆RRHEA, Chl@mydia can cause scarring and lead to P!D.

✅PAST ECT0PIC PR€GNANCY:This can scare the fall∆pian tubes.

✅ FIBROIDS:These growths can block the the tubes particularly were they uterus is attached.

✅ PAST ABDOMINAL SURG€RY: Surg€ry on the tubes can lead to p€lvic that can block the tubes
