We focus on assessment of patient experience and satisfaction levels of health care services through a customer exit survey approach known as Healthcare Provision Survey (HPS). HPS provides a unique integrated data platform that enables healthcare providers to view the entire patient experience through new eyes. Mwananchi’s Health Consultancy Firm is also responsive to societal health needs in order to fulfill its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in tackling systemic problems for effective and universal healthcare that all are entitled to. To accomplish this noble course, we believe that the first & most powerful way to positively improve the health of the Kenyan people is through Health Awareness Campaigns that are community-focused and preventative in nature. Health awareness campaigns offer great potential to raise awareness and understanding about health issues and mobilize support for action. Secondly, we’ve initiated a Kenya Proficiency Testing Services program (KPTS) that offers a great potential to raise awareness and understanding about Proficiency Testing services & conduct a Root Cause Analysis particularly when a laboratory has demonstrated poor performance on the Proficiency Testing (PT) scheme and thereby initiate and evaluate a corrective action. Participating in Proficiency Testing is important because it is a tool the laboratory can use to verify the accuracy and reliability of its testing. It demonstrates a laboratory commitment to good performance and enables participants to confirm their ability to perform test competently and this is consequently essential in the laboratory accreditation process and also relates to quality product reputation in the market and ultimately brand value of participant diagnostic laboratories.
