Gigantomastia Foundation works hand in hand with experts and volunteers based in Nairobi, Kenya, to assist girls and women who have no funds to cater for the surgery for gigantomatsia, which is quite expensive.
Gigantomachia is a condition where there is excessive growth of the breast tissue to a size that is too big and heavy for the body. It is a rare condition, which occurs in puberty just after a girl has started having her monthly periods. It can also occur during pregnancy in some women.
Gigantomastia Foundation advocates for the way the society looks at this condition. Our campaign seeks to debunk common misconceptions, encourage people with gigantomachia to embrace their difference and to call organizations to take greater action in helping people with gigantomachia by working with us.
