𝗔 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗚𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲
Last week, in the lead-up to Christmas, we were able to distribute soccer shirts to children at Shalom Gate Children’s Home, an orphanage in Naivasha. A warm Christmas gesture that brought many happy faces and unforgettable moments.

This sponsorship was a special Christmas gift, made possible by Dirk Vlaar.

Recently, we had the pleasure of sponsoring our Clinical Officer at our clinic in Kenya, Mr. Kimani Kamau, along with four other riders, during an inspiring 14-day motorcycle ride under the Ride for Hope banner.

Their mission?
🏍️ Raising awareness about childhood cancer
💛 Raising funds to support 25 families under Mr. Kamau’s care

The ride was officially flagged off on November 3, 2025.

We are proud to support this incredible initiative and their dedication to bringing hope, support, and solidarity to those who need it most.

Meet Jackson Maingi Kavungi, our dedicated Packing Supervisor at Van den Berg Roses Kenya. Since joining the company in 2006, Jackson has been instrumental in ensuring that our roses are packed with the highest quality standards before they reach our customers worldwide.

"My job involves maintaining discipline within the packing section, managing packing quality requirements, and ensuring we meet and exceed our packing production targets. I closely interact with field, direct order, and quality control personnel to align with our company’s strategy and goals. I also focus on continuous quality improvement, monitoring staff performance, and ensuring that our supply meets each customer’s needs. Additionally, I oversee the cool chain and box temperature dispatch targets to maintain freshness.

The most I like about my job is the good and accommodating environment at my workplace. It makes daily operations smooth and enjoyable."

In my free time I like watching football! It's my favorite way to relax and unwind. I have three wonderful children who bring joy to my life every day."
