Last week, in the lead-up to Christmas, we were able to distribute soccer shirts to children at Shalom Gate Childrenโs Home, an orphanage in Naivasha. A warm Christmas gesture that brought many happy faces and unforgettable moments.
This sponsorship was a special Christmas gift, made possible by Dirk Vlaar.

Recently, we had the pleasure of sponsoring our Clinical Officer at our clinic in Kenya, Mr. Kimani Kamau, along with four other riders, during an inspiring 14-day motorcycle ride under the Ride for Hope banner.
Their mission?

๐ Raising funds to support 25 families under Mr. Kamauโs care
The ride was officially flagged off on November 3, 2025.

We are expanding our spray rose assortment with Cheyenne โ a stunning cerise spray rose that stands out with its vibrant color. Available in lenghts 40 - 70 cm.
Our Snowflake, the bright white spray rose that has been part of our assortment for some time, also available in 40 โ70 cm.
Both Cheyenne and Snowflake are available through Royal FloraHolland as well as direct sales.

Pride of Africa is a well-know rose brand from Kenya. The production site is located on the Naivasha Lake in Kenya. It is a product to be proud of. Pride of Africa roses are available in many colors and varieties, in various lengths and the bud sizes vary from 3.0 to 4.5 cm. The passion for the product and the cultivation is shared with many involved employees who, day in and day out, get the best out of themselves for a distinctive top product with a long shelf life.
Attention to people and nature
Grower Van den Berg RoseS focuses on nature and people and is therefore certified for FairTrade, a social quality mark to help developing countries to achieve better trade conditions and promote sustainability. Van den Berg RoseS has also taken initiatives in Kenya, such as training projects for their employees and their families, medical care, drinking water supplies, clothing projects and dietary advice.

Every day the fresh Pride of Africa roses are transported from Naivasha to Poeldijk (NL) to be processed into a finished good, where the European consumer can find the fresh products on the shelves of the supermarkets.
