ATI that tube is long, it's too big... You underestimate the size of your gut!

Endoscopy may be uncomfortable but not painful, unless there's an underlying condition. The tube is not too big, it's just the right size to safely navigate the inside of your gut.

To reduce discomfort, sedation is given to relax the body prior to the procedure.
The doctor controls the tube to navigate corners and obstacles in the body.

Where a biopsy sample is taken, there's minimal pain and bleeding which usually resolves in a few days.

There may be mild discomfort after the procedure but it is manageable and should not cause you worry.
