🚨 The Silent Warning Signs of Kidney Disease 🚨
Did you know that diabetes and hypertension are the leading causes of kidney disease? 🤔 Many people don’t realize their kidneys are at risk until it's too late! This Saturday, let’s uncover the early warning signs and how you can protect your kidneys. 🩺💙
🔎 What are the silent signs of kidney disease?
⚠️ Unexplained fatigue & difficulty concentrating
⚠️ Swelling in your feet, ankles, or face
⚠️ Changes in urine – foamy, dark, or frequent nighttime urination
⚠️ Persistent itching & dry skin
⚠️ Nausea or loss of appetite
🚨 Diabetes + High Blood Pressure = Double Trouble for Your Kidneys
🔹 High blood sugar damages the tiny blood vessels in your kidneys
🔹 High blood pressure makes it harder for your kidneys to filter waste
🔹 Without regular checkups, kidney disease can creep in without symptoms
🛑 Don’t wait for symptoms to show! If you have diabetes or hypertension, regular kidney function tests (eGFR, creatinine, urine albumin) are a MUST.

Cervical cancer is frequently detected with a Pap test. Cancer that begins as a proliferation of cells in the cervix is known as cervical cancer. The lower, narrow end of the uterus that enters into the va**na is called the cervix.

A Pap test for cervical cancer screening can detect the disease early, when it has a higher chance of being cured.

For a discounted test, come visit our lab on the fifth floor of DnD House, Nakuru.
Give us a call on 0717535037 for booking.

The Unseen Struggle
When Jay returned to school, everything felt different. He now had to carry a small kit with him—a glucometer, snacks for emergencies, and sometimes even an insulin pen 🎒🩸🍏. Every few hours, he'd excuse himself to check his blood sugar. The teacher was understanding, but his classmates began to notice, and that’s when the questions started.
“Why do you always leave class?” one friend asked, looking at Jay suspiciously. 🕵️‍♂️
“It’s... um, something I have to do,” Jay mumbled, not sure how to explain 😓.
The kids whispered behind his back, glancing at him as though he were contagious. A few started avoiding him at lunch, some afraid they might “catch” what he had 🦠, while others thought his need for snacks during class meant he was getting special treatment 🍫. It didn’t take long for Jay to feel like an outsider.
One day, during a game of soccer ⚽, Jay felt his energy drop, and he knew he needed to sit down and eat. But when he asked to stop, one of the boys rolled his eyes. “Why do you always have to eat? You’re just lazy,” he sneered. 😒
Jay’s face flushed, and he tried to fight back tears 😢. He wanted to shout, to explain, but no words came out. All he could do was watch his friends run off, leaving him behind with a sense of frustration and loneliness that weighed on him as much as the illness itself.
At home, Jay’s mom noticed the change in him again. He didn’t talk about his friends anymore, and the spark in his eyes had dimmed 🌧️. Sitting beside him one evening, she asked gently, “Do the other kids know what’s going on?”
Jay shrugged, looking away. “They think I’m weird, Mom. Like there’s something wrong with me.” 😞
His mother wrapped her arms around him 🤗, feeling his hurt. “I know it’s hard, Jay. But maybe, with time, they’ll understand. And I’ll be here with you, every step of the way.” 💪💙
