In celebration of International Cochlear Implant Day, the Global Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss (GFCHL) in partnership with Kenyatta National Hospitalhosted a Cochlear Implant Family Day for beneficiaries of the Voice of Children Foundation program under the Office of the First Lady of Kenya

The event brought together families of newly implanted children for encouragement, shared learning, and guidance as they begin their habilitation journey.

I was honored to participate as a volunteer in the parent training sessions, supporting families as they gain confidence in nurturing their children’s listening and spoken language development.

It was a powerful day of hope, empowerment, and community.
