POLYCYSTIC OVARIAN SYNDROME (PCOS).

Polycystic o***y syndrome pcos is an hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges.
The cause of polycystic o***y syndrome may involve a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Its believed that high levels of male hormones prevent the ovaries from producing hormones and making eggs normally. Genes, insulin resistance, and inflammation have all been linked to excess androgen production.
The cause of polycystic o***y syndrome may involve a combination of
1.Irregular periods or no periods at all.
2.Difficulty getting pregnant (because of irregular ovulation or failure to ovulate)
3.Excessive hair growth (hirsutism) – usually on the face, chest and back

Some flies 🪰 can lay their eggs on your skin or wounds... and when they hatch, the tiny maggots 🐛 burrow inside, causing painful sores! 😱

This condition is called Cutaneous Myiasis.

👀 How to recognize it:
✔️ Painful swelling that looks like a boil/pimple
✔️ A small hole in the center (the maggot breathes through it)
✔️ Crawling/moving sensation under the skin 🫨
✔️ Pus or fluid may come out

💉 Treatment:
A doctor/nurse carefully removes the maggot 🧑‍⚕️
The wound is cleaned 🧴
Antibiotics if there’s infection 💊

✨ Keep wounds clean & covered 🩹
✨ Iron clothes dried outside (kills fly eggs) 👕🔥
✨ Use insect repellents & protective clothing 🦟🚫
