SYNTROPY FARMING SYSTEM;

What is syntropy farming?

Agroforestry system which involve growing of a combination of most marketable fruit trees, fast growing farm boundaries wood trees, beehives, 'live' hedge-fodder fence & seasonal cover crops(live mulch). All these elements being integrated in a unique pattern on the farm in such a way they co-exist, supplement & support one one other.

How syntropy farming system work;

1.Wood trees growing along farm boundaries serve as wind breakers; improve farm humidity; and benefit fruit trees growing in the farm interior. This also provide farmer with long term income from the sale of tree wood products eg timber, poles, posts etc, Other benefits include 'Nurse' trees for fixing soil nitrogen, mirchohyzae and organic biomass from falling leaves.

2.Farmers capitalize on diversifying commercial fruit trees grown in the farm interior in such a way that when one type is off season the other is in season & ready for harvest. This should consequently provide an endless income cycle in all seasons throughout the year.

Great honour as major player during KEPSA tree planting day at Mang'u high school (Thika) where we established diverse fruit orchard for the students(avocados, oranges & mangoes). Event graced by her Excellency Amina Mohammed(CS-education), Bidco founder(Vimal) and other dignitaries. Special thanks to KEPSA team & school administration(including Mangu boys 'military like' music band) for unending support & cooperation & making the day a success(Known celebs & great couple; Wahu & Nameless-) plus others not mentioned...
