Health matters because a healthy community is an empowered one. Simple health checks and timely support help families stay productive, resilient, and dignified.

On Saturday, Uhai Kenya NGO held a community medical camp at Gatitu in Kandara Sub-County. Dr. Simon offered free blood pressure , blood sugar checks, medical consultations, and free medication. We also shared a warm cup of porridge a gesture of unity and care.
Special thanks to the Area Chief and Assistant Chief for spending the day with us. Your support made the outreach truly impactful.
Together, we continue building healthier, stronger, and more connected communities.

Meet one of the shushus in Utheri OPA, once she needed a walking stick, now she dances with strength and joy! 💃 Through weekly weaving, laughter, and songs with her fellow older persons, she’s found new energy and confidence. See how she narrates with happiness how the group has helped her regain strength and hope. Age may be golden, but her spirit shines even brighter.

Through traditional songs and the art of weaving kyondos, they continue to pass on wisdom, resilience, and identity to future generations.
