Monthly Discussion Forum on Ageing (MDFA) in Nairobi, organized by ACF and SUQOON Foundation, alongside Older Persons Organizations (OPOs).

The keynote by Dr. Agostino Munyiri on “Longevity in Old Age: Income Security and Wellbeing a Life Course Approach” was insightful, taking a disease-focused approach to longevity highlighting common conditions affecting older persons, their management, and the importance of proper diet in promoting healthy ageing.

As UHAI Kenya, we value such platforms that foster collaboration and strengthen collective action for dignified, healthy ageing.

Health matters because a healthy community is an empowered one. Simple health checks and timely support help families stay productive, resilient, and dignified.

On Saturday, Uhai Kenya NGO held a community medical camp at Gatitu in Kandara Sub-County. Dr. Simon offered free blood pressure , blood sugar checks, medical consultations, and free medication. We also shared a warm cup of porridge a gesture of unity and care.
Special thanks to the Area Chief and Assistant Chief for spending the day with us. Your support made the outreach truly impactful.
Together, we continue building healthier, stronger, and more connected communities.
