May 1st is set aside to celebrate all labourers but little is said of the labourers I see and these are my Gigantomastia patients! I want to celebrate all of you represented here by this lovely patient! Carrying this load on the chest for a life time is real hard labour! Can you imagine she was so tired from working her chest off that she wanted a chest like mine, flat as mine, worry not I am working on my pecs but can you imagine how bad it can be to make a lady get to this point! By the way that is one of the common requests because of how tired they are from carrying all this weight and marked by the common phrase “I am tired of them” or “zimenichosha”! I then have to spend some time trying to convince them that we should not remove the whole breast because as you know breasts are part of the femininity of a woman. I get so sad! Most are glad I talked them out of removing the whole breast but this one was special because she still came back and said I think they are growing back and I had to convince her that this is the right size for her frame. This got me thinking of PTSD related to large heavy breasts. This should probably have been the theme of this year’s May Day! She then started joking how one side of her previous bra now fits both her breasts and we really laughed about it and she promised to come back and show me! I will definitely take a pic and show you guys because I am also eager to see that. She then said she will deliver her bras and wants me to decorate the office with them so don’t be shocked when you walk into our office and find bras hanging on our walls, these are just orders from our bosses who are our patients and they are our real MVPs! Also she wants our Christmas tree this year to be decorated with bras! This could just be the Christmas tree of the century! Let’s wait and see, I am excited for this year’s Christmas! This is what I keep telling you, fire to get through the year and get through life without which I bet my life would be too bland. With that folks I hope you have a great week ahead✌🏾

After 55 plus years of having small b***s she came in and she was to straight to the point “Doc I want breast implants” she was so clear in her mind and had the “as a matter of fact” face that I stuttered… this is coz in this side of the world there are too many myths being spread around about implants that everyone has almost like labeled them “evil”🤦🏾‍♂️ So to find someone with the same mindset as me, talking my language and is not coming in with all these stories of I heard breast implants this and that which in our language we call “story za jaba”(made up stories) made me stutter but at the same time made me want to jump up and dance😂 Most definitely what she needs are implants for the results she would love, so we discussed everything and the rest is history. She was so happy that when me and my OCD were pointing out that this part has not settled yet, this part and this part is a bit swollen; she literally shut me up and was like “doc I still can not believe for the first time in my life I have big b***s, let my life begin!” It was at that point that I got it! In life all we want to do is live! So in the spirit of Easter her b***s and self esteem have risen again🥳 I wont keep you here for long, enjoy your last day of Easter because He is Risen! Happy Easter😊

The Aesthetic Meet 2025!

*****LONG POST ALERT🚨🚨🚨***** (swipe👉🏾 for after)
I am starting to believe the most important thing in life is quality of life. I know it’s been a long minute since I told you a story, so here’s the story…
I don’t know how to put it across so that you can understand what I mean when I say this is one of the greatest transformation we have had. When I first met her she didn’t know but my head was buzzing with how to get her the results she had in her mind. She had surgery as a child because of her ovaries and so she got a horizontal scar that divided her tummy into two just above her belly button and then fat was depositing on the upper tummy as you can see her holding it. When she lost weight she would lose her butt, thighs and legs but her trunk was not changing. So when I saw her I thought it was the straight forward, first lose weight then come we do the surgery, it wasn’t it! She was categorical don’t tell me to lose weight because when I do I look horrible and I lose my butt more, infact I want you to remove my tummy and give me a butt! I want to feel like a lady for my remaining years! Her clarity of thought was so strong that she was willing to do anything I would say to get her “lady” back. I tell her it is a long process and it is gonna take many surgeries to get to where she wanted, probably 3 or more surgeries. Her determination was so strong she said whatever it takes she is ready! So we started with lipo plus BBL, then lipo tummy tuck plus bbl then another round of lipo plus BBL and to be honest I learnt a very importantlife lesson from her, always celebrate the small wins! After the first procedure you should have seen her, she was so happy despite the change not being her final vision and the happiness kept increasing after every procedure. After the tummy tuck she couldn’t believe she could see her p***c area and thighs! This is by far the most upbeat, resilient and patient patient! It was a whole year of surgery, I was even telling her she was our project for 2024/2025, but she was…

This is a testimony to what courage, patience and determination can do! So this patient came to the office last year 2023 and apparently everyone in the office knew who she was except for me because I am too much into plastic surgery I forget there are other things going on… but I am doing better now, still slacking but better. Anyways she is a high ranking personality but I dint know, the beauty is she dint even show, all she had was good vibes and was extremely determined, the one that she felt like I was wasting time explaining everything in detail while all she wanted to know was when are we doing this? She was very well dressed I didn’t even think that it’s gonna be many surgeries but then examination came and I used a line that I used on what you order is not what you get😂😂😂 But it’s funny what I saw(the before you can see) was so exciting for me! Like I saw her and immediately my brain was on fire and in my head I was like this is why I love plastic surgery till I die…because I am trying to see the end and how to get there, what are the options, what will work and what wont work, and the thing that I always grapple with is I hope in the end she will be happy… so we discuss the options and I tell her what many don’t like hearing we have to do this in stages, gladly she was so optimistic and positive and was like doc, do whatever it takes- plastic surgeon’s favorite song… one thing is for sure some combination of procedures have to be staged! Some of the upsides of staging procedures is reducing risks and easier recovery, of course one of the downsides is going back to theatre which is scary for most so we have to find the right balance and do what is best to ensure the best possible results. So for her it was all in from lipo 360 to breast lift to tummy tuck to back lift to BBL the whole shebang and in the end we are now at what you order is what you get😅. The most interesting part was she kept surprising me with how quickly she was recovering like you think a stage will put her down for 2 weeks… (Continues in the comments)

The reason I love Plastic Surgery is the fact that there is nothing I have seen that has the ability to improve the quality of life like it does, say what you may but Plastic Surgery is extremely life changing.
Take my good friend for example, she has never been able to bend and pick anything that falls down or get something from under the bed but leave alone that, her breasts became extremely overbearing after the birth of her last born son and guess what she could not pick up her child from the floor, she had to get the nanny to pick him up and hand him over…. Many of you will never understand this struggle because most of you are men😜(had to take the swipe) and most of you ladies do not even think about the mere action of picking up your child when they are crying because it comes so naturally and it’s a routine just like how I see walking and don’t think one foot has to be in-front of the other foot and so on and so forth until I hurt my leg and kept cursing that I can’t do an easy thing like walking! So that is why I am always in awe of my craft and adore it till I die because not only can it give back life to the living if you get what I mean but it is a constant reminder to be grateful for the small things and never to take anything for granted.

As Dr. Edward Stieglitz said “The important thing to you is not how many years in your life, but how much life in your years!”

So my friend/our patient came back to the office 3 and a half months after we took out about 5kgs from her chest to just show off her healing and to do sit ups on the examination couch! Then her boy for good measure broke a tiny vase in the office and guess who was bending and picking the pieces like normal folks without thinking? She still owes me a vase but surely if this is not magic, I don’t know what is. I am forever grateful to our forefathers for the specialty of Plastic Surgery.
God bless our forefathers and God bless you all as you enter the weekend, may it be filled with gratitude and joy!

And my 200th post is dedicated to ‘My man’ (Say it like Denzel in American Gangster!) Ever since my man was young he has had to endure the tourture of picking showering times when no one is watching when he gets out, no swimming and always having on hoodies and baggy shirts! He like all of us want fitting shirts not to show off our chests but to feel normal. He had endured and accepted that he would have to pick out a larger shirt not because he wanted but because of what we call GYNAECOMASTIA! I keep saying self esteem counts as one of the top 5 things in quality of life and I saw this in him! Immediately he did the surgery and was coming back for a review he got himself a Tshirt that was his size without fitting and he could not believe that for the first time in more than a decade he dint have to think how the chest would look in the Tshirt but just if it was his size or not! And you should have seen how he walked in and gave me that boys hug of one hand as the right hands are shaking! My Man was over the roof bouncing like he owned my office! And the mother!?! Oooh she thought I was a miracle worker yet I just cut up people for as a hobby! Their biggest regret was they wish they knew there was a solution earlier! But hey, better late than never!
These are the days I will remember!
🥂 to kicking out man b***s one man b**b at a time!
