Weight loss done!
Gym done!
Lived over 10 years trying to get it going down and I have been there through the whole process!
There was one thing he had saved for last and that is surgery!
Now surgery done! Now back to the gym! Now he is unstoppable! Now he is living his best life!
Gynaecomastia surgery is life changing in more ways than you know! Think of how to hide your chest anytime anyone is around, or like this week for your Valentine’s Date, or on a hot day swimming, worse off in your suit as you go for a job interview… the struggles are endless and sometimes surgery is the only answer. Thankfully it works like magic and looks like nothing was done!
I am happy to see the happiness his face and now he says it with his chest😅
Have a week full of love!

Another day another transformation! A story of uncertainty and a supportive husband! I don’t know how to paint a picture of the first time I saw her coz when she came in she was looking as small as her After photo! I must say, ladies, y’all can hide what you don’t want us to see extremely well! So she says I want to fix my tummy, I’m like which one😅 though she fit the profile from the history of more than one pregnancies. Then it’s examination time and I couldn’t believe it what I saw and how good it was hidden! This was pro level styling to hide the tummy that good! Then I check the back and I am like what! This is magic! Abracadabra! She is like trust me everyone knows I am small, no one knows I look like this! Anyway so we go through our plan and through it all she is not certain it is possible, she wants to go back to the days before motherhood and I am like worry not! So she goes and in a week she is back again and her only 2 questions before she commits to the surgery: will I get the results I expect and is it safe, I have children? I tell her yes you will get your expected results, trust the process and safety first, we want to deliver you back to your family safely. Surgery day comes and finally I meet her husband, lots of love and care in the air and now I feel 2 levels of pressure, 1st deliver her back to her husband safely then 2nd to deliver her back so that her husband, the consumer, is happy with our work! After many hours of surgery 1st pressure is done, we deliver her back safely! 2nd pressure is now the waiting game but 3 months down she calls me and as usual banter and laughter as always then she goes I can’t believe this is me, you don’t understand what you have done! Then she goes “Daktari hata my husband anasema ulioverdo!” (Doc even my husband says you over did- direct translation) and it was at that moment that I knew our job is done and dusted 2nd pressure ✅ And verily verily I say unto thee “A couple that goes through Lipo, TummyTuck, BackLift, BBL together stays together!” Happy preparations for Valentines!

As always, your favorite Plastic Surgeon

New beginnings like day break… I have constantly been asked where did my stories go, so here is one!

About a year ago she came to the office on a random Saturday very disturbed by her arms and wanted surgery ASAP. We chatted and she really didn’t like her arms and she was so determined I was sure we are going to do her arms very soon but of course as most patients do, they take there very sweet time despite making surgery look urgent! Mostly it is to be sure about their decision since it’s not an emergency which I always highly encourage. Little did I know she also had another thing that she was even more determined to do than her arms which was weight loss. So a year after our first meeting she shows up in the clinic, I am sure I know her from the file I was given but when she walks in she is looking so different I swore it was a different patient but I had to put on my poker face and pretend I knew who I am talking to. So she tells me I know I was to do my arms buut… that’s when it hit me, my God she is the same person just a different body! She had lost like 25kgs and now I was like what happened to you? She says I did the ting, bariatric surgery and now I don’t like my b***s they give me serious insecurities. I was shocked inside coz I didn’t expect it and was like what happened to your arms? She was like they are also a bother but this breasts noooo! I need them reduced! Of course I am excited because I love breast surgery and how it’s always challenging me to think of the outcome and size before the surgery so I’m like say less! Then she is like I want to actually do both but my work can not allow coz I have to use my hands plus the breasts are a matter of urgency right now! So we talk about her new found priority and she is just smiling infact not anxious at all, almost like I am wasting time with my long lecture about the surgery and delaying her happiness! We crack jokes and laugh through the consultation then we settle on the date and bang from arm lift it turns to breast lift! The most interesting bit… (continues in the comments)

¡Hola mi gente! ¡Argentina fue lo máximo! ¡PERFECTO!

This was an experience for the books not just to further skills in Plastic Surgery but in life! The community(in the way you pass around the mate cup-pic 9) , the warmth of the people, the Argentine gastronomy, the barbecue. Interestingly, it is the friendliest embassy I have been to for a Visa interview, it is clearly in the people to just be friendly even when I didn’t know much Spanish other than Gracias I always felt part of the conversation. To feel all this while enjoying my hobby plastic surgery is Christmas come early for me! Dr. a master of our craft, you have to give me your skin care routine and I am coming for a carnival, .capdevila.asplindh for being my chauffeur and our great Spanish-English conversations, calm, smiling and and the great wink, the residents and the whole team at clinic and hospital not forgetting the Abrile FAMILY ❤️❤️ (happy birthday Risa, I hope I got it) all I can say is I am extremely humbled and it was an honor of my life for the opportunity to spend the past couple of days with you no wonder it went by too fast! I will definitely be back! I have got nothing but love and respect for what you guys do up in Posadas and how you do it! To Dr. the master surgeon, thank you for putting all this together and treating me like royalty, only God can bless you! Also for making surgery so lively with lots of laughter and of course amazing results then to top it off you grill meat so well!! In the words of Jay Z What more can I say?
God bless you guys and God bless Argentina 🇦🇷

THE KING IS DEAD BUT LONG LIVE THE CROWN

THE END OF AN ERA, I am glad and lucky to have witnessed the era

In death we realize nothing matters but peace, love and regret of the things we did not do

The words of Socrates as he accepted his death sentence ring loud as an acceptance of our ultimate fate: “The hour of departure has arrived and we go our ways; I to die, and you to live. Which is better? Only God knows.” ~ Socrates

Fare thee well Baba and may the good BABA bless you and keep you well

The true Prophecy or some call it manifesting in the modern world! It’s been a minute since I told a story!

Good morning on this beautiful 2nd Saturday of the greatest month of all, 5 days to my new year! Sooo here is the story. Many many saturdays ago, actually it was probably in the previous century, the year I think was 98 or 99, my mum took us to the market which usually was on Tuesdays and Saturdays in Kapsabet, I think it still is. Market day for those who don’t know or didn’t grow up in the countryside is when all the sellers or business people come out to play. That’s when you will get everything fresh for farm produce and all the cool stuff for clothes, shoes and all that stuff and with loads of variety. So on market day is when mtumba on fire! Mtumba which is the original name what you bougie people call nowadays call THRIFT! So if you wanted the best mtumba clothes aka thrifted clothes, market day was when to get them and it was a big deal! The feeling can be compared to going to Champs-Élysées or Milan on a shopping spree! The previous day or even days prior my mum would announce like a typical African mother that Saturday we are going to the market or if she was on a posh mood she would say shopping, it was so exciting! So it was the only thing we would look forward to, at least for me, though I can authoritatively say my siblings were equally as excited! So we thrifted alot of things and one of the thrifts was the Tshirt I have on today. Believe it or not this is a Tshirt I have had from my childhood. Back then when baggy clothes were cool as hell but also if you know African mothers well they buy you clothes and sometimes shoes that will you will grow into so the fashion was working very well and hard for her😂 so you would get a couple sizes bigger and that is how come this tshirt fits me till today😳😂 But here is the kicker which is the main point of the story, why would my mum accept to buy me such a Tshirt with the word Mr. Ass on it? Such a young boy 8 or 9 years rocking a Mr. Ass Tshirt, feeling too cool for school! Like how and why? This is what I thought about this morning, like what if?

May 1st is set aside to celebrate all labourers but little is said of the labourers I see and these are my Gigantomastia patients! I want to celebrate all of you represented here by this lovely patient! Carrying this load on the chest for a life time is real hard labour! Can you imagine she was so tired from working her chest off that she wanted a chest like mine, flat as mine, worry not I am working on my pecs but can you imagine how bad it can be to make a lady get to this point! By the way that is one of the common requests because of how tired they are from carrying all this weight and marked by the common phrase “I am tired of them” or “zimenichosha”! I then have to spend some time trying to convince them that we should not remove the whole breast because as you know breasts are part of the femininity of a woman. I get so sad! Most are glad I talked them out of removing the whole breast but this one was special because she still came back and said I think they are growing back and I had to convince her that this is the right size for her frame. This got me thinking of PTSD related to large heavy breasts. This should probably have been the theme of this year’s May Day! She then started joking how one side of her previous bra now fits both her breasts and we really laughed about it and she promised to come back and show me! I will definitely take a pic and show you guys because I am also eager to see that. She then said she will deliver her bras and wants me to decorate the office with them so don’t be shocked when you walk into our office and find bras hanging on our walls, these are just orders from our bosses who are our patients and they are our real MVPs! Also she wants our Christmas tree this year to be decorated with bras! This could just be the Christmas tree of the century! Let’s wait and see, I am excited for this year’s Christmas! This is what I keep telling you, fire to get through the year and get through life without which I bet my life would be too bland. With that folks I hope you have a great week ahead✌🏾

(Swipe ➡️ for post op)
After 55 plus years of having small b***s she came in and she was to straight to the point “Doc I want breast implants” she was so clear in her mind and had the “as a matter of fact” face that I stuttered… this is coz in this side of the world there are too many myths being spread around about implants that everyone has almost like labeled them “evil”🤦🏾‍♂️ So to find someone with the same mindset as me, talking my language and is not coming in with all these stories of I heard breast implants this and that which in our language we call “story za jaba”(made up stories) made me stutter but at the same time made me want to jump up and dance😂 Most definitely what she needs are implants for the results she would love, so we discussed everything and the rest is history. She was so happy that when me and my OCD were pointing out that this part has not settled yet, this part and this part is a bit swollen; she literally shut me up and was like “doc I still can not believe for the first time in my life I have big b***s, let my life begin!” It was at that point that I got it! In life all we want to do is live! So in the spirit of Easter her b***s and self esteem have risen again🥳 I wont keep you here for long, enjoy your last day of Easter because He is Risen! Happy Easter😊

*****LONG POST ALERT🚨🚨🚨***** (swipe👉🏾 for after)
I am starting to believe the most important thing in life is quality of life. I know it’s been a long minute since I told you a story, so here’s the story…
I don’t know how to put it across so that you can understand what I mean when I say this is one of the greatest transformation we have had. When I first met her she didn’t know but my head was buzzing with how to get her the results she had in her mind. She had surgery as a child because of her ovaries and so she got a horizontal scar that divided her tummy into two just above her belly button and then fat was depositing on the upper tummy as you can see her holding it. When she lost weight she would lose her butt, thighs and legs but her trunk was not changing. So when I saw her I thought it was the straight forward, first lose weight then come we do the surgery, it wasn’t it! She was categorical don’t tell me to lose weight because when I do I look horrible and I lose my butt more, infact I want you to remove my tummy and give me a butt! I want to feel like a lady for my remaining years! Her clarity of thought was so strong that she was willing to do anything I would say to get her “lady” back. I tell her it is a long process and it is gonna take many surgeries to get to where she wanted, probably 3 or more surgeries. Her determination was so strong she said whatever it takes she is ready! So we started with lipo plus BBL, then lipo tummy tuck plus bbl then another round of lipo plus BBL and to be honest I learnt a very importantlife lesson from her, always celebrate the small wins! After the first procedure you should have seen her, she was so happy despite the change not being her final vision and the happiness kept increasing after every procedure. After the tummy tuck she couldn’t believe she could see her p***c area and thighs! This is by far the most upbeat, resilient and patient patient! It was a whole year of surgery, I was even telling her she was our project for 2024/2025, but she was…
