Your healthcare provider may order an H. pylori test if you have symptoms of a stomach ulcer or signs of gastritis, including:
-Gnawing or burning pain in your middle or upper abdomen between meals or at night.
-Abdominal pain that improves if you eat something or take an antacid.
-Bloating.
-Nausea or vomiting.
