paid a visit to Physiotherapists trained in Dry Needling based in Mombasa. This was a check in / mentorship session to check in on how they are progressing on their dry needling journey. Dry needling involves inserting thin solid needles into specific trigger points, muscles or other soft tissues it helps to release tension reduce pain and improve function. Trigger points are hyper-irritable spots in muscle tissue that can cause pain, stiffness or refers pain. Dry Needling helps in releasing these points, improving blood flow and reducing muscle tightness.
