Its Mother's Day in the UK, and words cannot describe my love for you mummy.
Its been a year, the longest time in my entire life that I haven't seen you. Yet somehow you remain the most important force in my life. Boldly there for me. Always able to lift me up, with an almost psychic ability to know when I'm not OK.
I would not have gotten through these last few weeks without you, I wouldn't have gotten through life without you. My best friend, my greatest blessing. My Queen. For everything I have, thank you!

1 week after we said 'I do', the country went into lockdown. The entertainment industry, that we are both a part of, got a severe hit. We lost gigs, a lot of them. We had to make tough decisions about the staff we hire. We moved house. We got a new dog. I left radio. You launched .sol, I launched . But most importantly, we did it ALL as a team. Happy 1 year anniversary. Its a testimony to our partnership that this year has left us stronger than ever.

I cant believe I'm actually writing this. But I'm FINALLY opening my OWN space .

What a journey its been, from location sourcing, to raising funds, to construction, to staff training. Buuuuut I'm finally ready to open up.

This is the 1st of many announcements from the studio, but we are starting with classes. EVERYONE is welcome to join. But I am kicking off, with my women's only class. Next Wednesday at 6am sharp! 1st 5 people that book gets a free hamper, from one of these awesome brands I've partnered with.

I have to sincerely appreciate my team! Y'all have completely trusted me during this process. Some of you have moved house, some have quit jobs, and wow, I just tell you what that means to me. To my friends who have held my hand through sleepless nights, and multiple moments of anxiety, WE ARE HERE!

We have put everything on the line to do this, for the industry that we LOVE. To create a high quality space, with good quality sound and washing facilities. Dancers we have done this for us. To upbrand something that was ALWAYS dope. Customers, don't leave the classes you already attend if your instructors are dope, that's not the point, we are a family, and this is something we are in together.

To thank you for being the ULTIMATE brand partner, and always supporting the industry.

Finally to the multiple brands i turned down last year due to your budgets, please understand this is why. I cant stand with my dance fraternity, without making some sacrifice myself. Maybe through this space you will see the huge value that dance brings to the market.
