Yesterday I attended a discussion on the value of a broad-based government. The strength of such leadership is unity—bringing people together across all divides to focus on development, not division.

No one should be restricted from visiting any region. We must show the world that we are one people, united in purpose and friendship. Whichever party takes the lead, accountability must come first—because what we need is leadership, not party politics.

Times are changing, and so must our mindset.

I’ve been unwell since the start of this week, and after visiting several hospitals, I honestly feel some of them shouldn’t even be operating. It’s now clear why many Kenyans face misdiagnosis. The state of our healthcare system is worrying, and I strongly believe such a critical sector must be handled with utmost seriousness. This is deeply frustrating.

As MCA for Bukhayo West, I will push for strict oversight of all health facilities to ensure they meet required standards. I will champion increased funding for equipment, staffing, and essential medicines, and demand accountability where services fall short. I will also work to strengthen supervision, improve service delivery, and ensure our people receive safe, quality, and reliable healthcare.

I am ready to work with the community, listen to your ideas, and take action—because leadership is not about walking ahead of the people, but moving forward together.

Lengo ni moja: kuongeza kipato cha mkulima na kufanya kilimo kuwa biashara yenye faida na heshima.

Bukhayo West Ward is full of talent—our youth are creative, skilled, and ready to shine. But sadly, this talent remains neglected.

For years, there have been no clear programs, no support systems, and no real effort to uplift young people. Even worse, our current leaders have failed to connect with Gen Z—a generation that needs engagement, opportunity, and understanding.

The biggest problem today is connection. When leaders don’t connect with the youth, talent dies, dreams fade, and opportunities are lost.

But change is coming.

Incoming MCA Gidi AbdulRashid understands this gap. He is ready to build platforms, support talent, and bring leadership closer to the people—especially the youth.

Bukhayo West doesn’t lack talent—we lack leadership that listens, connects, and acts.

Bukhayo West, we must speak the truth.

In this generation, how do our roads still look like gardens? Bushes everywhere, impassable routes, and total neglect. This is not just poor infrastructure—it’s failed leadership, our farmers can’t transport produce. Businesses are struggling. Emergencies become a nightmare. Yet we are expected to stay silent?

Enough is enough.
We need leadership that understands that roads are not a favor—they are a right.

I am committed to pushing real solutions:

✔️ Proper budget allocation for roads
✔️ Regular grading and maintenance
✔️ Accountability on every project
✔️ Working with county and national bodies to bring resources home This is not politics as usual—this is about results.
