Outstanding achievement of KGMA interns - 100% passing the medical license exam in Nepal!

We are proud that all the faculty members of the Department of Radiation Diagnosis and Therapy of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KGMA) from 2022 to 2025 successfully passed the Nepal Medical Licensure Examination on the first attempt! Their 100 percent success rate is an outstanding result that attests to the high standards of education in the academy, rigorous training and unrivaled professionalism of the teachers.

We express our sincere gratitude to our outstanding faculty members of the Department of Radiation Diagnosis and Therapy for their invaluable contribution to this success. Their cutting-edge training methods, hands-on clinical sessions, and ongoing mentoring have helped practitioners achieve a high level of knowledge and professionalism in diagnostic imaging – a critical field of modern medicine.

Famous surgeon and social activist Mambet Mamakeev set a record in 2020 and received a Guinness Book of World Records diploma as the specialist who worked the longest in the world. As of February 29, 2020, his surgical career amounted to 67 years and 181 days.
Mambet Mamakeev was born on October 1, 1927 in the village of Kerege-Tash Ak-Suysky district of the Issyk-Kul region. During his years of activity, he performed about 30,000 operations.
Имя Мамбета Мамакеева присвоено Национальному центру хирургии Кыргызстана. В 2004 году ему присвоено звание «Герой Кыргызской Республики».
He was a deputy of the second and fourth convocations of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz USSR.
Mamakeev was the president of the Association of Surgical Societies of Kyrgyzstan, educated 15 doctors and 26 candidates. On behalf of the KGMA team. .. K. Akhunbaeva we express our deepest condolences to family and friends." Bright memories of this man will forever remain in our hearts!

The EdNet agency and the Ministry of Education presented the results of the first national study of the quality of activities of higher educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan.
The study was carried out by surveying teachers, employers, and the study authors also studied data provided by universities.
Universities were assessed according to six criteria:
• academic reputation;
• assessment of employers;
• quality of teaching;
• citation index
• number of teachers from abroad;
• number of foreign students.

Students, staff of KGMA protected students from India , Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The most traditional Kyrgyz custom is hospitality. In the past, everyone whose path passed through the Kyrgyz aul did not leave it without sharing a table and blood with their owners. And to this day, Kyrgyz people are very respectful to their guests, especially students who have come from far away, respect their customs and traditions. These gangster activities of private persons do not reflect the attitude towards the students of India, Pakistan as a whole nation.
In connection with this, on the night of the riots from May 17 to 18, 2024, employees, teachers and student volunteers of the faculties of the MPD, Therapeutic Case 1.2, dentistry of the KGMA. And. K. Akhunbayev stood up for and guarded foreign students in the dormitory and on the university campus. They tried to provide food and other necessary things.
They organized hot meals one by one, delivered water, provided the students with everything they needed, and made contact with everyone. Teachers and staff still volunteer to do duty and stay with students in the hostel to help those in need.
