Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kyrgyz Republic, His Excellency Mr.Faisal Niaz Tirmizi visited International School of Medicine (ISM) and met with the administration and students of ISM on 21th November 2018.

During the meeting, the Ambassador and administration of ISM discussed the welfare and security of students from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
His Excellency Mr.Faisal Niaz Tirmizi had a warm discussion with the students briefing them about the rules and regulations of the Kyrgyz Republic and discussed with the students their experiences as well as their problems in the Kyrgyz Republic. Besides, he emphasized the role of the Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic and called the students to be in touch with the Embassy through the social media.

Students shared information on their academic as well as daily experiences and got answers to their questions from His Excellency.

Administration of International School of Medicine (ISM) is proud to share that the student of 9th semester, Joy Guharay, participated in the Annual Young Medical Scientists` Conference 2018 held in Kiev, Ukraine from November 23-25, 2018 at the Bogomolets National Medical University (BNMU).
The conference was attended by 450 participants from the countries of the Caucasus, Middle East, Nigeria, Belarus Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Young scientists and students presented more than 100 scientific papers that were evaluated by the members of the jury sections - academicians of the National Academy of Science and National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and leading Professors and Associate Professors of BNMU.
Annual Young Medical Scientists` Conference 2018 was opened by the welcoming speech of the Rector of BNMU, Honored Doctor of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor O. Naumenko. He noted that the International Conference for Students and Young Scientists is an opportunity to learn, understand new trends in medicine, and engage in new relationships and wished the conference participants fruitful and successful work.
Student of ISM-Joy Guharay under the supervision of Doctor Medical Sciences, Professor V.Alekseev, Dr.Yulia Starodubets was awarded 1st place for the β€œBESR RESEARCH” at the Annual Young Medical Scientists Conference 2018 in the session Obstetrics and Gynecology and his research report on β€œRisk factors leading to birth defects in Kyrgyzstan” was published on Ukrainian Scientific Medical Youth Journal, special edition β„–1 (107)2018.

On 17.12.2018, Student Π‘ouncil of ISM organized awareness programme against terrorism in the memory of innocent school children who lost their lives during APS terrorist attack in Peshawar Pakistan.

Students of ISM paid tribute to the martyred kids by their performance in the form of speeches, poetry, songs, documentary, and paintings.

They gave a message that "Terrorism has no nationality, no boundaries, and no religion". The chief guest of the event was Ambassador of Pakistan "Faisal Niaz Tirmazi " who gave a message of love, peace, and humanity.

At the end, participants were awarded with the certificates by the Dean of ISM-Satarkulova A.M.
