β€˜little red chairs' is a series of participant-led nutrition workshops that uses the power of food x storytelling to support people to build healthier communities. πŸ²πŸ’¬ Developed by The Fringe in collaboration with Battambang community members, β€˜little red chairs’ amplifies local voices and lived experiences, bringing them to the heart of the nutrition conversation.

πŸ“Š According to a World Food Programme report (2023):
➑️ Nearly 80% of calories in the average Cambodian diet come from rice and sugar
➑️ Over 80% of women and children are deficient in at least one micronutrient.

We’re on a mission to change that β€” one conversation, one story, and one meal at a time.

It's one of the reasons we launched during the COVID-19 pandemicβ€”to promote physical x social movement. A key focus has been partnering with communities to co-design culturally-appropriate, low-cost, and accessible solutions.

Over the last month, we’ve had an absolute blast working with the MAG (Mines Advisory Group) team to explore the barriers and facilitators of physical activity. By building trust and creating safe spaces for feedback through regular β€˜pulse checks,’ we’ve been able to adapt the program to meet the specific needs of this incredible group of people.
