Today we celebrate International Women’s Day (8M), a day to recognize the strength, courage, and unstoppable spirit of women everywhere, especially the inspiring women of Cambodia. πŸ‡°πŸ‡πŸ’œβœ¨

Your strength is powerful. Your voice matters. Your dreams are valid. And your leadership is essential. πŸ”₯πŸ’«

In many societies, women are often told that success means getting married. But the truth is that finding a partner who is respectful, who believes in equality, and who truly supports you can sometimes be difficult. πŸ€βš–οΈ

And if that person does not appear, it should never be seen as a failure. ❌

Choosing yourself is not a failure, it is strength. It is freedom. It is empowerment. πŸ’œπŸŒΈ

Being single can be an opportunity to grow, to develop your talents, to become economically independent, to learn, to lead, and to build the life you truly want. πŸ“šπŸ’ΌπŸŒβœ¨

Social expectations are not always right, and every woman has the right to choose her own path. πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸ’ͺ

And on this day, while flowers and chocolates are kind gestures 🌹🍫, what women truly deserve is respect, equality, and the freedom to live with dignity every single day. βš–οΈπŸ’œ

Today we celebrate women who follow their own dreams, who refuse to accept less than respect, and who continue to rise with dignity and confidence. πŸ‘‘πŸŒΊπŸ”₯

Happy International Women’s Day! πŸŒ·πŸ’œβœ¨

🌸Feel-Good Friday πŸŒ“

Friendship can be one of the strongest protectors of mental health, especially in Cambodia, where community and connection are such an important part of daily life. A simple coffee together, sharing a meal, or just listening to each other can ease stress, reduce loneliness, and bring hope during difficult times.

Good friends remind us that we don’t have to face challenges alone. They help us laugh, stay grounded, and keep perspective when life feels heavy.

This Friday, reach out to a friend:
✨ Send a message
✨ Make time to talk
✨ Show appreciation

Sometimes, small moments of friendship create the biggest impact on wellbeing. Take care of your mind, and each other. πŸ’›

🌱 Green Thursday: Save the Planet with Us! 🌱

🚲 Choosing a bicycle instead of a motorbike isn’t always the easiest option.
🌍 But cycling has benefits that go far beyond cost:
✨ It helps reduce emissions and fight climate change
πŸ’¨ It keeps our air cleaner
πŸ’ͺ It improves our health through daily physical exercise
😊 It boosts mood and overall wellbeing

Every ride is a small step toward a healthier planet 🌏 and a healthier body ❀️. Sometimes the best investment isn’t convenience, it’s sustainability, health, and the future of our planet 🌱🚲

Bringing Healthcare Where It’s Needed Most 🌍❀️

This is an example of the visits we carry out in rural villages 🏑🌾. These communities often face serious barriers when it comes to accessing healthcare πŸ₯. It’s not only about being far away from health centers, it’s also about the high cost of transportation πŸš—πŸ’Έ and medical visits, which many families simply cannot afford.

By bringing healthcare directly to them πŸš‘β€οΈ, we help ensure that distance and financial limitations are not obstacles to receiving the care they deserve. Access to health services should not depend on where someone lives πŸ“ or how much they can pay.

We remain committed to reaching those who need it most and making healthcare more accessible for everyone 🌟✨. And while we are truly grateful to help, we also find ways to see everything in the most positive light, sharing small, meaningful moments with our team that allow us to disconnect, recharge, and continue our mission with even more strength πŸ€πŸ’™

🌟 Meet Suan, the person who keeps so much moving at our health center 🚐πŸ₯

Most people know Suan as our driver, but his role goes far beyond that. He supports patient reception and administrative tasks πŸ—‚οΈ, helps coordinate logistics when international medical teams visit 🌍🩺, and is always ready to fix whatever breaks in the health center πŸ”§πŸͺ›. In short, he is truly multi-purpose πŸ’ͺ.

Even though he is not a medical professional, his contribution is essential ❀️. Thanks to his dedication, organization, and willingness to help wherever needed, our team can focus more on patient care and our center runs more smoothly every day 🀝✨.

Healthcare is not only about doctors and nurses, it also depends on committed people like Suan who work behind the scenes πŸ™Œ. We’re very grateful to have him as part of the team πŸ’™

✨ Acne: Simple Care Makes a Difference

Acne is very common, especially during teenage years and times of hormonal changes. It usually improves with time β€” it’s a normal part of growing up for many people.

Some simple habits can really help:
πŸ‘‰ Wash your face gently with water and soap morning and night.
πŸ‘‰ Avoid touching pimples or squeezing them.
πŸ‘‰ Try not to cover acne with makeup or heavy products.

Food can also influence acne. Eating more fruits and vegetables, drinking enough water, and reducing highly processed supermarket foods may improve your skin.

β˜€οΈ Moderate sun exposure can sometimes help acne, but always use sunscreen to protect your skin and avoid damage.

And if acne becomes severe or worrying, you can always visit a health center for advice and support. You don’t have to deal with it alone. πŸ’™

🌸Feel-Good FridayπŸŒ—

πŸ¦’ Be a giraffe, speak with a big heart

In Nonviolent Communication, the giraffe is a symbol of kindness. Why? Because the giraffe has one of the biggest hearts in the animal world. From its height, it can see far away, not only problems, but also peaceful solutions.

πŸ‘‰ Speak from the heart, not from anger.
πŸ‘‰ Listen calmly before reacting.
πŸ‘‰ Try to understand, not to blame.
πŸ‘‰ Kind words help create peace.

When we act like the giraffe, calm, patient, and caring, our families, friends, and communities become more peaceful.

Today, try to be a giraffe. Speak gently. You may see things change. πŸ’›

🌍 We Share This Planet With Animals, Let’s Not Forget

Animals are not just part of nature, they are our neighbors on this planet. They feel, they suffer, and they deserve care and respect just like we do.

Taking care of animals means taking care of our world. Kind actions, protection of habitats, and simple compassion can make a big difference.

Let’s remember: this Earth is not only ours. We share it, and together we can keep it safe, peaceful, and full of life. πŸΎπŸ’š

βœ‚οΈ Why Cutting Your Nails Is Important βœ‚οΈ

Keeping your nails short and clean helps prevent infections and the spread of germs. Long or dirty nails can collect bacteria and dirt, which may cause health problems, especially when touching food or wounds.

Cut your nails regularly, keep them clean, and wash your hands often. This simple habit supports good hygiene and helps protect your health and the health of others πŸ’›

✨ Yesterday was a very special day! ✨

The health center staff, together with doctors and a nurse from Spain πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ, carried out a health education session at the Salesianas center. πŸ«πŸ’™

We talked about very important topics such as the risks of social media πŸ“±βš οΈ, personal body hygiene 🚿🧼, and menstruation 🌸, helping students gain knowledge, confidence, and awareness about their health and wellbeing.

It was a truly enriching experience for everyone involved πŸ™ŒπŸ“š. Thank you to all who participated and helped make this initiative possible! πŸ’«
