St John Phnom Penh recently conducted an essential CPR training session, welcoming cadets from New Life School and Emmanuel Community School, staff from Himawari Hotel Apartments, and members of the Singapore Alumni Association of Cambodia. Participants engaged in hands-on practice, gaining vital life-saving skills and enhancing their ability to respond to emergencies. In the afternoon, the Future Focus Solutions led an AED workshop specifically for our cadets and Himawari Hotel Apartments staff. This comprehensive training emphasized the critical importance of automated external defibrillators in saving lives. Together, these sessions empowered attendees with the knowledge and confidence to make a difference in critical situations.

On June 7th, as part of the Mission for Smile 2025 initiative by JCI Chaktumuk, Ms. Soy Socheat, representing Mr. Andrew Tay, Senior President of St John Phnom, generously donated a first aid kit to Samaky Koma Primary School in Prey Veng Province. This kind gesture was bolstered by the knowledgeable staff from Maxicare Children Hospital, who assisted by explaining the first aid kit's usage to the school's Principal, ensuring better safety and preparedness for both students and staff.

On June 4th, four dedicated officers and members of St. John Phnom Penh, led by HRH Princess Kanhchana Norodom, had the privilege of joining the celebration of His Majesty King Charles III's 77th birthday. The elegant Himawari Hotel Apartments provided the perfect setting for the event, graciously hosted by HE Dominic Williams and Mrs. Williams, and attended by approximately 300 distinguished guests. The joyous occasion promoted a spirit of unity and fellowship. The Ambassador extended heartfelt appreciation to St. John Phnom Penh for their steadfast support and invaluable contributions. Adding to the significance of the celebration, St. John Presidents Mr. and Mrs. Tay were also in attendance to commemorate this special day.

St John Phnom Penh, together with 17 dedicated first aiders, is proud to participate in and provide first-aid support at today’s SUSU Dream Run powered by adidas. This impactful charity event unites 800 runners and 200 volunteers to support important causes, including Heart of Gold, Cambodian Children’s Advocacy Foundation, and the National Center for Infants and Children. We are honored to be part of an event that champions health, community spirit, and compassion—working together to improve the lives of vulnerable children and families across Cambodia. Together, we make a lasting difference.
