The HCVI Medical Library has partnered with https://goleansixsigma.com/ to develop a Health Care Leadership Platform that will provide education and resources to Health Care Leaders in the developing world. This will include Lean SIx Sigma Training as well as Project Management Instruction. The Google Site that will provide access to a spectrum of leadership resources is under construction presently and will be released in the coming weeks. The HCVI Team conducted its first training this week at the HCVI Medical Library in Cambodia to a group of 25 aspiring Health Care Leaders and it went over resoundingly well.

The HCVI Medical Library has offered a Google Application to the Medical Student. The course mainly focused on What is Google Application? What applications do Google Apps have? Why it's important? When can we use it? Where can we use it? How do they work? With Google Applications, the Medical Student or other students can better communicate and collaborate with or without sitting near each other.

The HCVI Medical Library in Cambodia offered a Google Applications course for every student especially the student from Medical School.
The Google Applications course starts on Wednesday until Friday from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm every week.

Please, friends and colleagues, visit our other FB Pages and share them with your friends. We are making a major push to develop our base of supporters. I have been the primary funder of HCVI since its inception in January of 2014, but that no longer remains viable as we continue to grow and expand the impact HCVI has around the globe. What I have shared tonight is the tip of the iceberg and you will be hearing more in coming weeks. We need volunteers, social media pros, and individuals who can generously provide financial support. In advance, I want to express my appreciation for any support that you can provide. Warm regards. Frank

One of our latest projects at The HCVI Medical Library, is providing free English literacy classes. Illiteracy is reported to be as high as 38% in Cambodia, and it disproportionately affects women between the ages of 18-40, leaving them with few skills or opportunities. It is the hope that we will be able to provide these young women with skills that will enable them to gain better jobs and perhaps even work for HCVI on Projects like Hand Hygiene, Nutrition, and our Women's Health Platform in the future, benefiting the communities in which they live. The classes run for 3 hours every Saturday and Sunday at the library and are open to anyone who wants to learn to read and write. The class is taught by one of HCVI's part-time employees, who is also a full-time university trained teacher. A Google Site drives the whole program and is enabling scale and efficiency beyond our greatest expectations. If you at interested in becoming a student or providing outside support to this program, please message us to register your interest. It has been amazing to see the impact and the change in self-esteem that has developed in weeks for these women who could not cite the alphabet but are now writing basic sentences. For many, it is probably the first time they have felt empowered and in some control over their destiny in life. The woman in the video never attended school in the past and she could not read or write the alphabet. But as you see in the video, within weeks she is acquiring these most basic but essential skills.

On behalf of the HCVI team, we would like to express our deepest condolences for your loss. Any death is felt greatly, but in an individual as young as Chanborith, this is an even greater tragedy.

As we only recently began to work closely with Dangkor Referral Hospital (DRH), we regret that we did not have a greater length of time to get to know Chanborith. In our limited interaction, I would like to comment that she was extremely well-liked and respected by her peers at DRH, as well as by the members of the HCVI team.

She will be greatly missed.

Please accept this small gift in her memory on behalf of the HCVI team.
