Some may have noticed my absence during the past 6 months. I was very sick and needed to return to the UK for surgery. Ended up in Intensive Care for 20+ days following the surgery. Hopefully will soon be back on track.

The following images were taken when I was still using the Canon 1D Mk IV as my primary camera, and what a great camera it was and still is. The images document a trip I used to take once a year with Volunteer Dentist from Kids International Dental Services (KIDS) which was set up by Dr Bob Renner and his wife Purobi to address the lack of dental care in the small communities of Cambodia. X Pro1 + 50mm f2 WR. JPEG from the camera. Believe me I understand the theory behind RAW images and respect the people who need or wish to use them. I rarely use RAW in my Fuji cameras as the JPEG images they produce are wonderful and I cannot for the life of me produce images that match them processing the RAW myself. [ 348 more words ]

I only recently started to use Fuji cameras seriously even though I have owned an X100 for over a year and a half. I have been using my X100 for lots of images on the street and had been impressed with the quality of the images, it lightness and build quality.
