On February 8th, the Cambodian Korean Pediatric Heart Forum was successfully held, receiving an overwhelming response with over 400 online registrants. We truly wanted to welcome everyone in person, but due to space limitations, we regret that we couldn’t accommodate all who wished to attend. The forum featured insightful presentations from Cambodian and Korean speakers, followed by a panel discussion on advancing pediatric heart care. Experts shared valuable perspectives on improving congenital heart disease treatment and strengthening medical collaboration.

The main sessions covered key topics on congenital heart disease treatment and surgical advancements, with Cambodian experts sharing their experiences and perspectives.

A highlight of the event was the panel discussion, where specialists from Cambodia and Korea engaged in in-depth conversations on expanding pediatric heart care in Cambodia. Their shared knowledge and collaboration underscored the importance of strengthening medical partnerships for sustainable healthcare improvements.

On February 8th, the Cambodia-Korea Pediatric Heart Forum took place. Many staff members worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the smooth progress of the forum, and we would like to take a moment to highlight some of the key roles that contributed to its success.

Firstly, there were the registration staff, who managed the sign-up and registration process for all participants, ensuring that everyone was properly prepared for the event. We also had a team of promotional staff dedicated to managing the Facebook event, creating awareness and excitement for the forum. Additionally, our protocol staff played a crucial role in guiding attendees and VIPs, making sure that everyone felt welcomed and supported throughout the event. Last but not least, the event staff were there to assist with overall operations and coordination, ensuring that the forum ran smoothly from start to finish.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the dedicated staff who worked together to make the forum a success. We truly hope that the Heart Forum was a meaningful and rewarding experience for everyone involved, including all the hard-working staff who contributed their time and efforts.

On February 8th, the Cambodia-Korea Pediatric Heart Forum brought together leading pediatric heart specialists from Korea to share their expertise and collaborate with Cambodian medical professionals. These esteemed professors have dedicated their careers to saving children with congenital heart disease and advancing pediatric cardiology.

💙 Meet the Experts Who Joined Us:

🔹 Prof. CHOI Jung-Yun – A pioneer in fetal and pediatric echocardiography, with over 40 years of experience and renowned publications such as Fetal Echocardiography and Pediatric Echocardiography.

🔹 Prof. KIM Nam Su – Secretary General of the Global Children's Heart Network (GCHN), specializing in congenital and rheumatic heart disease, and founder of the Korean Society for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and GCHN.

🔹 Prof. KIM Young Hwue – A leading pediatric cardiologist and President of the Global Children's Heart Network, dedicated to improving management of congenital heart diseases worldwide.

🔹 Prof. YUN Tae-Jin – A surgeon specializing in complex congenital heart defects, with 5,000+ surgeries performed and a pioneer of hybrid pediatric heart surgery in Korea.

🔹 Prof. LEE Chang-Ha – A cardiovascular thoracic surgeon at Bucheon Sejong Hospital, dedicated to advancing pediatric heart surgery with 5,000+ surgeries performed and research in Korea.

🔹 Prof. SONG Jin Young – A pediatric cardiologist at Samsung Medical Center, actively involved in pediatric heart device closure, and research, including studies on Fontan-associated liver disease and pediatric heart transplantation.

🔹 Prof. KIL Hong-Ryang – A pediatric cardiologist at Chungnam National University Hospital, actively involved in pediatric heart device closure, and current Director of the Korean Heart Foundation, supporting children in need of heart surgery.

🔹 Prof. YU Jae Hyeon – The first president of the KSTCS Women’s Medical Association and an expert in pediatric cardiovascular surgery at Chungnam National University Hospital.

*Visitors outside of the specified age group, please contact the CAP teacher
- Operating Hours: Morning 8:30 AM - 11:40 AM / Afternoon 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- Location: 1st Floor (Next to the Dental Clinic)

* Usage Rules:
1. Please check your temperature and wash your hands thoroughly before entering.
2. Entry is allowed only during registration hours and is restricted during program sessions.
3. For safety reasons, a patient card must be presented upon entry, and children must be accompanied by a guardian.
4. Food is not allowed inside the CAP center.
