Fruits and vegetables seen in the picture and their benefits (for age 50+):
Figs (both fresh and dried)
Benefits: The biggest enemy of constipation, strengthens bones (calcium + potassium), controls blood pressure, improves heart health.
In 50+: Very useful in bone weakness and joint pain. Constipation is always away if you eat 2-3 dried figs daily.
Dried Apricots
Benefits: Rich in vitamin A, protects eyesight, removes anemia, keeps skin young.
In 50+: Soak 4-5 apricots at night and eat them in the morning, your eyes, skin and hair remain healthy.
Raisins (both black and golden)
Benefits: Instant energy, increases blood, strengthens bones and teeth, removes mental weakness.
In 50+: If your memory is getting weak, eat 15-20 raisins with milk every day.
Dates (especially Ajwa or Madjool)
Benefits: A treasure trove of strength, reduces joint pain, increases hemoglobin, strengthens the heart.
In 50+: Eating 3-5 dates on an empty stomach in the morning relieves back pain, knee pain, and fatigue.
Walnuts
Benefits: Number one for the brain, keeps the arteries clean, and promotes good sleep.
In 50+: Eating 4-5 walnuts a day keeps the brain sharp, reduces the risk of Alzheimer's.
Almonds
Benefits: Reduces cholesterol, strengthens the heart, and strengthens bones.
In 50+: Soaking 5-7 almonds at night, peeling them, and eating them will make your skin glow and improve your memory.
Carrots
Benefits: Improves eyesight, skin, and immunity.
In 50+: If your eyesight is getting weak, chew one raw carrot daily or drink its juice.
Cucumber
Benefits: Hydrates the body, reduces joint pain, controls blood pressure.
Spinach
Benefits: Increases blood flow, strengthens bones, great for the eyes.
Why is it important to use them after the age of 50?
Bones start to weaken → Dried fruits contain natural calcium
Memory weakens → Walnuts, almonds, raisins sharpen the mind
Constipation increases → Figs and raisins are the cure for this
Heart and arteries weaken → All these things naturally strengthen the heart
Eyes weaken → Carrots, apricots, spinach are very beneficial
If you eat just a handful of dried fruits every day (Figs 2, Apricots 4, Raisins 15, Walnuts 4, Almonds 5) + a raw carrot or cucumber, then even after 50 you can have the same energy and health as those in your 30s, InshaAllah!
