To stand on the bedrock where the glacier was only a few years ago was sobering and humbling. It was a place I could bring the heaviness of grief in my heart and remember loved ones no longer here, a place to listen to the soul song of the glacier receding. A place of mourning for a world of humanity in turmoil and crisis and place where I could begin to receive the reassurance and perspective of the potent force of nature I was so privileged to bear witness to.

In the midst of so much global crisis I want to take a moment to share a piece of music I have had the privilege of playing on in support, love and care for friends and community impacted by the devastating fires that wiped out the heart of the Kingdom of Hawaii in Lahaina. As the world's eyes turn to the next crisis I want you to know Lahaina and Maui you are not forgotten. The depth of your loss runs so deep I honour and stand with you. It is time to stand together and do all we can to support each other in these times.

She is the Founder / Facilitator / Visionary & Consultant of “Heart to Heart - Indigenous Relationship Consultation” where she calls upon her lived Indigenous experience to not only offer insight and understanding but also to enable us to discover what it means to come back into right relationship with our Indigenous Hosts & our own Ancestry.

In this episode I had the joy of traveling through Aotearoa, New Zealand, the land of the long white cloud with my dear friend Rachael Lowe. A journey of breathtaking beauty and deep conversations about our ancestry and in what way ancestral forgiveness is needed personally and collectively.

We had the privilege and honor of meeting Philip Mutu, a Maori elder in the village of Whakarewarewa in Rotorua. Philip took us to his sacred Maori land by the ‘Weeping Waters’ at the foot of the volcano Mount Tarawera and shared his ancestry and experience of forgiveness.
