Did you know that if a birthing person has continuous labour support (that is, someone who never leaves their side), both the birthing person and their baby is statistically more likely to have better outcomes:

- A shorter labour
- A decrease in negative feelings about birth
- Increased spontaneous vaginal births (goes into labour without the use of drugs or techniques to induce labour)
- A decrease in the use of any pain medication
- A decrease in the use of vacuum or forceps-assisted births
- And babies were less likely to have lower Apgar scores at birth

After a busy few weeks working away on contracts and proposals in my other role I've finally got some time to start sharing resources on this page.

I hope these will be useful for people staying in Cambodia to give birth during this time of uncertainty.

Anyone planning to birth their baby in Phnom Penh in the next few months? Is there anything specific you would like to know more about? Feel free to comment on this post.
