We love finding passion fruits in the garden. There’s nothing better than sitting on the grass and eating a tasty treat that’s still warm from the sun. So grateful for this life.

Meet the ‘How are you Really’? Team!

The husband and wife partnership have been living in Asia since 2013 and love the simple way of life, connection to nature and the opportunity to share their experiences with like minded people. Sarah had been teaching yoga in the UK for 1 year before their journey to Indonesia began with a leap of faith when Sarah was offered a yoga and meditation teaching position on a small island near Bali. They left their home and jobs in England with a determination to live the dream! It worked! This opened up opportunities for Sarah to teach workshops and classes all over the world and in the last four years she has successfully taught in England, India, Nepal and Indonesia. They have both been hosting Yoga Retreats all over the world and now have their own Yoga & Meditation Centre called Yoga Barn which is just outside the sleepy riverside town of Kampot in southern Cambodia.

Sarah's passion is introducing people to yoga, not just asanas (postures) but every aspect of yoga which is why her and Larry decided to host their How Are You Really? Yoga retreats. As well as introducing guests to all aspects of yoga, Sarah and Larry want to give the opportunity to explore how you really are and give you tools to fall in love with yourself and your life all over again.

Sarah has been practicing Yoga since 2010 & was inspired to do her first Teacher Training in England back in 2012 gaining a BSY Diploma in Hatha, Children's & Pre & Post Natal Yoga. Since then she has completed her YAI-certified Hatha Teacher Training Course under the guidance of Yogi Amit Kaushik at Kaivalya Yoga School, Rishikesh in India and her FlyHighYoga™ certification in Bali. Sarah is also a fully qualified Reiki Master, successfully completing each level in Thailand, India & Indonesia.

Larry completed his Thai foot massage & reflexology training at the International Training Massage School in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He also qualified as an Ayurvedic Masseur at Yogapath in Rishikesh, India with Tamara Demming Shambhaviya. In Bali he qualified as a Sound Therapist under the guidance of Patrizius W. Suppan, Vibrational Psychologist, at Light Spirit Sound Treatment Centre.
