Our in-house Paediatrician, Dr Chleo Smithen-Romany, responds to the needs of our paediatric population (from birth to 18 years) in St. Kitts and Nevis. Dr Smithen-Romany treats and manages chronic illnesses such as diabetes, asthma, obesity, high blood pressure, epilepsy (seizures). Dr Romany services also extend to acute conditions. Treatment is offered for infections of the skin, airways and stomach, as well as, the cold and flu and infant feeding disorders. She encourages yearly routine check-ups known as Well Child Visits which is in keeping with the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
