1. Adjust your eating habits
- Eating cooked, drinking boiling water and washing hands before eating is always a lesson you are taught from an early age to avoid causing stomach pain. And it is also a measure to prevent infection with parasites and bacteria that are harmful to the stomach and intestines.
- Do not skip meals or eat late. Should eat on time and should not eat too full so that the stomach digests food better.
Eat slowly, chew thoroughly to reduce the burden on the stomach. You should also give up the habit of eating while working for better nutrient absorption.
- Do not eat or drink at the same time. It is best to drink 1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal to help eat better. After eating, you should also only drink a few small sips of water.

2. Weight loss

Limit eating sour, spicy, hot foods, containing a lot of acid and stimulants
- Hot spicy foods: Chili, mustard, pepper ... are foods that stimulate the stomach to secrete a lot of gastric juice, which can easily damage the stomach.
- Sour foods: It will increase the amount of acid in the stomach, if you eat toads, mangoes, lemons, pickles, etc., on an empty stomach, it can lead to damage to the stomach lining, over time the stomach will become inflamed and ulcerated.
- Carbonated drinks: When drinking carbonated water, the amount of gas produced in the stomach will make it swell, stimulating the stomach to secrete more acid.
- Coffee: Can stimulate the stomach to increase acid secretion, increasing the acid concentration in the stomach.
Alcohol: Alcohol can irritate and erode the protective mucus layer of the stomach lining, making the stomach susceptible to inflammation, ulcers and bleeding.
- Salt: H.pylori bacteria is one of the main causes of stomach ulcers. Eating too much salt can increase gene activity in these bacteria, making them more virulent.
3. Avoid taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory pain relievers
Today, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are widely used. Just a symptom of a headache, or a pain in the limbs, ... is this drug used again. However, if used a lot, regularly, this group of drugs brings extremely harmful effects to the digestive system.
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can cause inflammation or irritation of the lining of the stomach and small intestine, leading to ulcers. So whenever you feel a headache, you should carefully weigh the harms and benefits of this drug or consult your doctor before taking it if you are having stomach problems.
4. Avoid stress
With today's modern life, with pressure of work and study, many people have signs of stomach pain due to stress. Because when you are stressed, the stomach will increase acid secretion more, increasing the risk of inflammation and ulcers.
5. Avoid staying up late
Your body is like a biological clock, while you sleep, some internal organs are still working hard to maintain the body's life. But if you stay up late, that activity will be affected and damage some organs such as the liver, kidneys, ... and especially the stomach.
Because when the body sleeps, the stomach also rests. If you stay up late, of course, your stomach will also have to work, along with the body's energy consumption. Therefore, if you stay up late often and for a long time, your stomach will be drowned, the secretion of gastric juice will gradually destroy the stomach lining, causing inflammation and ulcers.
