본 동아리는 남서울대학교 사회복지학과 의료사회복지 학습동아리 PMS(Prepare for Medical Social worker)라는 명칭으로 는 뜻을 담아 2011년 9월 9일 창단하여 경기도 용인에 위치한 로하스용인재활요양병원 사회사업팀과 연계하여 활발한 활동을 하고 있습니다. 이후 재학생뿐만 아니라 예비의료사회복지사인 졸업생과 실천현장에서 활동하는 의료사회복지사 선배와 함께 활동하면서 포괄적인 의미와 체계적인 활동을 위하여 2014년 1월 15일 의료사회복지실천동아리 MSWPS(Medical Social Work Practice sociaty)로 명칭을 변경하여 "Happy Birthday(다빈사업)", "도서기부캠페인(안다미로사업)", "헌혈권장및헌혈증기부(아토사업)", "손가樂꼼지樂(미술치료/그린나래사업)" 등 더욱 활발한 활동을 하고 있습니다.
